The way the steering is tuned makes corner entry quicker and at the limit is far more composed plus it holds the line with so much more composure. 2. The suspension is a lot more compliant, the front strut design is different and when going over bumps etc you hardly feel them or they are much better controlled as suspension is faster reacting. Especially when modifying the suspension you will notice that on a holden and a HSV with the exact same setup the HSV will always handle and ride

noticeably better. Then you have the things like brakes and tyres which are easy to pick out. You also have a lot more clearance in the front struts in case you ever want to dial in some extra camber to aid handling further. My own vehicle is fully modified with shocks springs, sway bars etc, and still rides so well. It's very firm but luxurious at the same time because bumps etc are so well damped. (courtesy of bilstein shocks and the R8 strut design)

Awesome car. I have the VZ R8 which is better again than this. Better steering and turn in behaviour and slightly lower front end weight as the ls2 engine is lighter than the ls1. What a lot of people don't know is the actual reasons why HSV is much better than holden. A lot say you pay extra just for the kits and better engine. The truth is you pay extra because HSV vehicles are much better tuned. Firstly the steering is far better, much sharper and quicker to respond along with more feedback

And yes my car has full suspension upgrade! Nolathane front to back lowerd pedders shocks and springs, strut brace etc.. Manuel And it has no trouble frying the tyres and has a great steering lock for catching it, But It still feels a bit unco, but if it was in a track like this might be diffrent, no tree's etc... Maby i'm just used to the old school non power steering! But They still wicked fun car to drive! And sick donuts ;) But not to much of that these day's and if i do its in the sticks

I drive a 2003 WK V8 Caprice with SS cold air induction and a K&N Filter. Puts out about 275kw. Have had it up to 231km. Would have gone faster but road was ending..... not a good thing lol

I have yet to drive one that ticks all the boxes and is more than the sum of its parts.The new supercharged Walkinshaw stuff and Miami V8 in the fords are spectacular power plants but the chasis on both FPV and HSV never feel up to the task.Im lucky enough to drive loads of excellent cars and unfortunately, all the Aussie stuff just feels like lots of excellent bits bolted together rather than a complete harmonious unit.Yes they can be fast and corner and brake but its the way they do it.

I got a vx putting out just under 300rwk its a fun car to drive with that power (i know its not the fastest one out there but 300rwk still feel prity punchy and i dont get beaten by many cars on the street but every now and then something quick will scare me or give ass wooping, The car is a great every day driver but it feels fucked to cut up in, The steering fights you, and have trouble feeling where the front wheels are, My vk loves it! The vx nicer to drive but bad car for drifting etc...
