Mark's training seems to be what ever the latest gimmick/fad is. Any experienced lifter will tell you half the shit he's doing in the gym is a waste of time and he's pretty clueless as far as lifting goes.

@@jimmy5634 I think its more that people can not differentiate. A lot of the hate i see here, is because Mark Wahlberg did some questionable things when he was young and because apparently some Drug/Steroid Dealer (People who are known for their credibility) said a few years ago he sold him Steroids. Now whether people act like as if no one deserves a second chance and is actually able to change, i dont care. I also dont care if he took steriods somewhen. Because i can differentiate, and appreciate/respect that no matter what he did in the past/will do in the future, it doesnt change the fact that this guy is living discipline when it comes to his body. And thats an amazing trait to have
@k4kes
@k4kes 4 жыл бұрын
@Andrew Pingwin Well so going by that, every actor is a overpaid nobody that has too much money. But i dont see many people dislike them in general for what they do, so its gotta be something else. Because the "with terrible movies" Argument doesnt count either, because A. thats subjective whether or not you like a movie. and B. Literally every actor has "terrible" movies. So again im not buying that this is the whole reason, there gotta be more.. otherwise you'd see the same reaction towards every other actor too.. and thats clearly not the case.
@k4kes
@k4kes 4 жыл бұрын
@Andrew Pingwin Well it is a bold claim to say that people "love" them, they seem to be popular. And i agree that most of those you named are talented actors. I dont know what 25 year old movie you are referring to but whatever.. Sure enough Wahlberg made a lot of average movies in the past 20 years. But he is like Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham just one of those guys that are apparently fine with being in those Action movies that might not win a prize, but are also not "Snakes on a Plane" level trash. And i personally dont see anything wrong with that, they are average actors, playing roles in average movies. Sure enough they get payed way more than the average dude out there. But thats hardly their fault is it? Most of us live in a free world, we could all become actors and earn millions, but its just not everyones dream to be in the news everytime you leave your house and wear the same shirt twice, and not everyones dream to be an actor, let a lone have the will to do that job. So what im trying to say is probably this, i can understand where you are coming from, but all the points you made, arent really arguments to criticise someone/hate someone. I dont automatically hate someone just because they were lucky and had the right idea at the right time, or made the right deal at the right time, or got the right role in the right movie in the right time. Which then made them famous and rich... That also doesnt mean i automatically like them, but there is a lot of room in between . I can respect him for his discipline and still say that his last movie "Spenser Confidential" is really boring. That he probably got more money for the role in said movie, then some of us will ever make in their whole life is weird, but i also dont understand why Tom Brady gets payed 10million+ a year to throw a ball around (thats obviously a generalization of American Football, but you probably get what i mean) meanwhile my mother who works as an old people''s nurse struggles to make ends meet. But thats a whole other discussion about whats wrong out there. And has nothing to do with Wahlberg as a person... which leaves room for the speculation that people are jealous that this average dude just made a lot of money as actor, and therefore they dont like him/hate him. And if thats the case, then those people should grow up and stop acting like a teenager that realizes that the kid at other table got a bigger birthday cake.

it is much easier when you don't work two shifts a day or get in line with 3 people only to shoulder press. When you can hire a cook and afford all supps. However, you can do a lot when you put your heart and brains into it! No excuses! Just do your best and your best is more than enough.

It's pretty easy dude. Strength train with one of the many different methodologies out there(5x5 for example) that most interests you, learn to "lean bulk", and follow a good progression model. You will be able to increase both strength and mass dramatically while maintaining a low bf% going to the gym 4.5-6 hours a week.

Good training stuff. Great coach too - is a must! ✌️. By working this hard results cant be avoided. Drills are all well known, but you dont need to invent the wheel again. No pain, no gain is not actually true, but resilience and in-born motivation are. Of too much pain, results deteriorate and injuries come up. Thank yoju for sharing 🙏.

Marky Mark is an inspiration. The man fucked up when he was a teenager. Nearly went to jail. Became a Hollywood star. Midway through his career he faded away with a bunch of flops. Re-invented himself by doing comedies. Now he is back to the top. Just keep on grinding and put in the work. Persistence is more important than talent alone....

Meh, the science shows that a standard 3-5 day split and good cardio program will produce better hypertrophy and fat loss. I'm not saying it's a bad program, as mark knows what he's doing; but it works for Mark because he puts hard work in at the gym, not because it's the most efficient routine at all. Most personal trainers get WAY too complicated and start pulling routines out of their ass to be different and have an 'edge' over other trainers. But the science shows a simple P/P/L or U/L or bro-split are the most effective routines for muscle building. On top of that working in 30-60 min HIIT and core work, he would be much better off than this weird, pseudo-science BS this trainer has him on.

a lot of back and forth in these comments... that's his trainer so what? thats the gym he trains in so what? this might be an add to sell products so what? why is it that when people see a comments box they often then not have to take it to a negative and insulting level? he's just a dude living the life he has made for himself. Has it had that drastic of an effect on your own personal life that you feel it necessary to hate his hard work and good fortune. projection is ugly...and for the dude that's all about the education of mark's trainer.... have you met this man before? does it not seem disparaging to evaluate his education based on a few short clips of him speaking? He may not be completely accurate on what was shown but i wouldn't deem it necessary to pass judgment in regard to his intelligence concerning fitness based on this clip. I've also found that not many people are fond of aggressively pretentious people. you might gain a bigger fan base if you didn't try hard to convince everyone you know better... do you know who the wisest man in the room is?......the one who says nothing...do you know why?.....one day you will figure it out.

Dexter Morgan look at him swing those 40s back before bringing them up. That's shit form no matter how you look at it. Using momentum cheats the rep. You can easily curl 5-10 lbs heavier than you normally could by doing this. AND he's doing hammer curls. Smh.

Sadly, I can refute that because since having kids my diet is shite but I look like I'm in great shape. I don't gain weight at all like my diet should be putting it on me. In a way I'm lucky, on the other hand the cholesterol is prolly clogging me muchly. It just doesn't show...until the autopsy. 😒

No offence but this trainer does not know the definition of soreness. Soreness is caused dude to muscle tissue damage after a long workout pause or from a new hardier routine. The worse thing you can do is go back the next day and workout the injured muscle again.

NoFap 365, yep, your muscles are torn and damaged, another workout won't heal them (u might feel less pain but not recommended!), just puts more stress on the recovery. And anyone saying 90% this or that, there are no numbers! Workout, eat, sleep, all as important! Hate when people say this much % needed or that much % needed... every body is different and everyone can eat differently. Peace. :)

@@andrewwilkinson3510 rest is needed.but everyone that's done sports has always been told stretch or do a light workout to warm the muscles up so the soreness starts to go away.if you stretch the next day after the workout it helps your muscles and wont worry about being all sore
