Been loving a lot Waids recent books, but every time I hear one of his interviews I’m reminded that he’s SUPER knowledgeable about the medium and also his views on characters are almost diametrically opposed to mine. Superman/Clark/Lois shouldn’t be perpetually stuck in a love triangle for 80+ years, they aren’t Archie/Betty/Veronica. Spider-Man/Peter where when one wins means the other must lose is a tired, transparent trope that only leads to misery porn. Otherwise, great interview and can’t wait to see how Absolute Power ends, Dan Mora is absolutely killing it on the art too.
