hi! it was brought to my attention that the term lizard/reptilian is rooted in antisemitism in which I used several times in this video. I am so sorry as I thought it was just a ha-ha term to call rich ceo's /politicians unhuman. i'm so sorry for using this terminology as I was ignorant to the origins. I've removed the parts in this video where i used these words to make fun of mark zuckerberg. i'm sorry to the people that were made uncomfortable/upset by this, and i thank those that brought this to my attention! please have a lovely day :) thanks!

@@DEVeloper_ACE No it's very much not a new term. The antisemitic lizard people thing has been around longer than either of us have been alive. I understand wariness of "fad" cancelling by overeager social media users over things that aren't that important, but yeah it's an actual antisemitic thing with a storied history. We should applaud creators especially for taking the time to remove hateful content from their platform and doing their part, no matter how large or small, to de-normalize discriminatory cultural artifacts. Updating our language is one of the most important ways we as a people and as individuals can fight hateful and discriminatory sentiments and make the world just a little bit better for everyone. :)

@@pyrofur_nx there’s very long been a connection of Jewish people not being actual humans, saying they are reptilian aliens disguised as humans to take over, cause catastrophes, or whatever else conspiracy theorist hateful people will say about Jewish people. Every piece of it is set to dehumanize and vilify them. Pointing out distinct facial features of Jewish people and the stereotype that Jewish people have a lot of money and therefore power ties in with it. Piecing it all together that Mark is socially a mess, has a lot of wealth, and actually is Jewish, the “ha ha lizard person” jokes go from kinda silly throwaways to actually continuing to perpetuate some of the most consistent and hateful rhetoric to an actual person of that group. That’s the tricky thing with a lot of antisemitic jokes and dogwhistles is that the hateful people in those groups try to make it very commonplace to make those remarks, so it’s then more acceptable to spread and talk about. If everyone realized the actual implications of saying “this rich Jewish man isn’t human”, then it’d be obvious to the world who the antisemites are, which is what they don’t want. Because of that it’s really best not to make lizard people jokes in general, raise the awareness so the only ones making those jokes are the hateful people and let them just expose themselves that way, don’t just give them a little more room to hide. Sorry if it was a long answer it’s just w far more complex issue than a KZbin comment can handle but it really is an important thing to be aware of and not something that gets talked about enough.

Yeah, from what I've heard at least, people who work with him have confirmed that Mark is much more personable in...person, so it's unfortunately inevitable by this point to acknowledge the sad fact that TheZuck is INDEED trolling us. So, back in the 80’s, at bars, arcades, and pizza parlors, they had these video games built into barrels. The screen would be laying on its back with the display facing straight up, and there was a set of controls on each side of the barrel. Two people would sit across from each other and both look down into the screen. On most of them, there was a single player option, but they were built for 2 player games. Also, unlike the big arcade cabinets, you could sit down while playing them. It works best for something like chess or pool, PAC-Man and Centipede were popular as well (the screen would flip depending on whose turn it was). I bet you a million damn dollars, that thing that looks like a piano, was an updated version of one of those old barrel games, and the game dev girl was playing a game when the camera pans to her. I bet you they thought it would make sense to have the person representing game development playing a video game, but they’re so out of touch that they didn’t realize most people wouldn’t know what that thing is.
