Love hearing an instructor, whether internet like this or in person, saying if you do it well keep doing it. I've done this forever and have been able to find the consistency to play in college, reach a +2 and maintain solid striking into my late 30s. We didn't have the money for weekly lessons and country club memberships with instructors. Been told so many times by people the swing sucks, you'll never get better etc without redoing my entire swing.

Crossfield always at the good edge of coaching. Been watching youtube coaches pretty regularly for 8 years, Mark is the only one I've ever seen address this.

Sir I love your explanations. Your videos have truly helped me understand the concepts of the golf swing. Thank you very much ✌🏼

Wow. I’m not sure how many vids I’ve watch but I don’t think I’ve ever seen this. Just another reason to find a good coach.

Thanks for all the great videos Mark! I have heard this before but I think it was from only one other youtube channel a while ago. I feel its something nobody talks about when trying to explain the take away yet I'd think it's a pretty important thing to explain.

it works! I feel like im going to hit over the top but I am actually on plane. Been fighting the inside and laid off take away for too long

Great tip. It also means you have more room on the downswing so less likely to come over the top 👌

Hi Mark. This is awesome. Have been trying to get this feel down pat for a while. Takes some getting used to but does give you more room on downswing. Also trying to get comfortable with grip. I see you interlock. Is this what you would recommend? I keep changing lol

Been trying the one hand backswing from your other videos as it forces the hinge to get the club back

Mark, Good stuff. Just one question. How does this work with a flatter swing? Thanks

Good stuff. Never heard this before. I’ve tried to keep my wrists locked because I used to cock my wrist at take away.😮

Nice! I just thought: what if I insert a tee almost all the way into the glove, so I can feel it press the crease? (have just invented a new drill?)

I think at parallel to the ground during the takeaway the club should be VERY close to on the target line. If it's not and if you don't do some funky manipulation you're way off plain later on.
