When using the phrase "hurting so many of you..." I am a case of that literally. I had injured and then continually made worse out of stubbornness repetitive motion and shock impact to my right shoulder, wrist, neck, and back from practicing hitting overly down on the ball. The comparisons you make in this video and the concepts of what to feel in the hand/handle relationship are certainly key in preventing overly steepness. Cheers!

First time I really noticed -- what a great job you do in production/editing these lessons. Multiple perspectives very well-timed. Very professional. You've come a long way from that driving range one camera teacher. Good on you, Bro.

Parfield, I really like the content, especially when you use stats, it helps me understand what I need to do to maintain single digit handicap and it really helps me manage my expectations and not get upset about missing a 20 footer for par, although I miss the old content with Buggy Time and the Muppet tour, I hope you and coach bring back some of the course vlogs.

ive been shanking the ball for the past few months, knowing i was off balance and not sure how to stop. I just got back from playing my best golf of the season after watching this video, not only that but im putting in a lot less effort for the same distance. I really needed this vid

The understanding of the swing is evolving but I agree that all the ‘new’ information is a little bit overwhelming 👍🏻 All part of the challenge I guess.

Yes. Just, yes. You, Paddy H, Monte, AMG, there are a few others, but still far too few. These thoughts were natural to me and then beaten out of me by the "fire the hips and turn through, bruh" crowd. 7 years back playing and I'm finally beginning to be able to do it again.

Is it possible to be a single digit handicapper while predominantly picking the ball clean and taking few divots? When I’m making good contact, I’ve never been successful taking a divot, but I do tend to hit the ball first and take a very small divot ( more like a bruise of the turf). The rest of the time I’m hitting behind the ball. I’ve basically given up on trying to take a divot.

As a teen taking up the game I was taught to “imagine pulling down on a rope” at the top of the backswing. Anyone else? Hit my floor as a single digit hdcp. Now 50 and working hard on this move. This is not an overnight fix… but I’m all in

Yet it's Lee Trevino's go-to advice, and to play the ball back in your stance. Disagree with it and mountains of Trevino fans will remind you of his greatness and your lack of it. The history of golf is full of contradictory advice from great players and coaches, I have a literal library of golf-related books and magazines collected over 40 years. Each will assure you that their advice is based upon sound biomechanics. So what's the answer, who is right and who is wrong, and why?
