How is the first one bad advice? To see if there’s any merit in the cheating claims before confronting your partner? Seems pretty reasonable and the problem with confronting the partner right away is that if they were honest or cheating their response would be the same, only the cheater would have the heads up to cover their tracks. So observing them for a while and seeing if there’s any other signs before confronting or proceeding is a better shout. She was better off telling him this time, but in other cases it worked out better by them observing their partner and watching for more signs. With limited info you can never truly tell

As time went on my roommate began to suffocate me, waiting in the living room for me to come home only to follow me into my room when I said I was gonna lay down (aka I was done with talking). When I tried to set some boundaries and gently asked for more space, they banned me from having people over and wouldn't even make eye contact. I had told them before they moved in (I was already on the lease) that I was a social person and they would have to be okay with that if they chose to move in. I never once had a party, just a friend or two over for a couple hours in the afternoon/evening. They would ask me to be quiet at 5pm while having a normal volume conversation with a friend. I’m disabled, it’s up to me to manage my disability, expecting complete control over your partner, hiding keys, being abusive, being manipulative? Those just make YTA, those have nothing to do with being disabled. It took me nearly 24 months to fight the government in my country to get legally recognised as disabled and get disability, in that time I’ve NEVER tried to control others, I’ve never expected the world to bend to my whims and I’ve never worded it as “lacking empathy”. The world does not revolve around you, but she expects everyone to do as she says and it’s so toxic. The only understanding I ask for? No screaming, no Buckfast alcohol (other alcohol is fine, Buckfast the smell specifically sets off my PTSD like nothing else, but because it tastes horrid nobody even wants to have it, and are happy never having it around me. If someone did? I just go somewhere else, I cannot control strangers lmao), don’t scream in my ear (no normal person would) because PTSD, and the only thing I’ll request? “Can I hold your arm whilst we cross the road? Can you help me walk over this ice?” It’s not a demand, just a request because I walk with a cane. You ask people “hey, could you help with X? Thanks” because demanding is rude. As such my friends are happy to not only help, but offer their arm for me to hold before I ask, they understand “Sarah is a cripple and needs a lil help”, they also know I’d never demand “you must help me wherever I walk or you’re ableist”, I just cannot believe OP somehow things “everyone lacks empathy” and “you’re all ableist” because she’s abusing her partner. You can be disabled and toxic, you can be disabled and entitled, but you know what OP can never be? Disabled and understanding, disabled and kind, disabled and loving, because apparently she never learned how to understand others, how to be kind, and how to love. She’s TOXIC and I hope her partner RUNS I HATE that she calls it “boundaries in my house”, IT IS NOT YOUR HOUSE, you’re A GUEST, and I hope he kicks her out,

The essence of tomato sauce one- I ugly laughed. Full on cackled. That boyfriend wasn't being malicious. He was teasing her for something that is absolutely teasable. I bet her dad never wasted time and effort rinsing the sauce off either. She should have had a laugh at herself with her boyfriend. The fact that she lacks the capacity to laugh at herself is the biggest red flag. Good god.

That was such a weird story. I can understand if someone had a legit visceral reaction to certain foods, but sis is just picky. I have no respect for picky eaters like her. Like many others said food waste is awful and so the the people who waste it. Also is she not an adult? Can she not rinse her own damn noodles? But I do blame the dad most of all bc he fed into her dilutions of sauce essence. And then she updates with, but he's not just bad bc of noodles guys, he's a cheater and a lier too! Smh

I think it was a husband/wife, and a metal (?) box that supposedly contained olives. The container was opaque, and I believe it locked, so she never saw what was in it, but the story was “olives.” Like, special olives his friend’s family grew or something. That *had* to be refrigerated, bc reasons that didn’t make any sense. He flipped out when she left it out of the fridge for a few hours one day while she was cleaning it. He moved the box elsewhere (work? But Im not sure) bc he couldn’t “trust” her with it after that. She and everyone thought it was weird. I don’t recall how that ended actually, just that we never got to know what was in the box!

….even if the bf stopped dancing and doing his thing, OP would still feel like he’s doing it because she apparently can sense it through the walls. My point is, if she can “sense” it without seeing it she’ll never know if he stops and therefore still feels like he does it. She needs therapy, aka get off your fucking ass, get a job, and make money to afford it. I have a lot of anxiety, to the point I nearly puke getting on a phone call but I still force myself to do if. I still work, I put myself in uncomfortable situations that make me feel awful because I have to. And not only because I have to but because I couldn’t stand being a lazy fucking bum that is literally useless to society. There’s a big difference between unable versus not willing to work hard

Also Op didnt specify if the neighbor has a man so I'm guessing she doesnt. I'm guessing the neighbor is probably bitter, lonely and desperate being single at 35. And the jealously of having a much younger women with a man around her age that she would want probably drove her to to this. Also the fact that OPs Husband acted a little weird with his annoyance of the neighbor probably means she was trying to hit on him and he denied her

2:02:22 I have auditory hallucinations that come with stress. 99.99% of the time it’s just my parents, mostly my mom, calling my name angrily. It’s annoying to us all because I kept going up to her and asking why she’s mad at me/what I did wrong, but it’s far from dangerous by any stretch of the imagination. The worst effect is that I’ll ignore her sometimes when she actually calls me because I assume it’s my brain playing tricks on me. I HATE when people assume hallucinations=dangerous or crazy. They absolutely can be, but don’t automatically warrant mistreating people and making awful assumptions about them. That’s just fucked up. When I do have breakdowns and end up being temporarily convinced of some delusional shit, it’s still not dangerous to anyone else. It just involves me being really scared and sad, like thinking that the people I love might not be real and that if I don’t stay in physical contact then they might poof out of existence and leave me all alone with no trace of them left. Mental illness isn’t automatically scary, it’s often just sad, and people should really stop demonizing it. It’s disgusting how people treat others who are mentally unwell like they’re less human. >:(

“I have sensory issues. I can perceive the slightest vibration or sound. Because of that I can’t live alone.” Er, what? That would be ideal for your sensory issues. I think you mean you can’t AFFORD to live alone. While that sucks, that’s not anybody else’s responsibility. Nor is it a reason to force someone to conform to your extreme demands just so you have a roof over your head. I get that you’re desperate but you’re using people.
