I honestly thought the update was going to be OP catching an affair partner but this is so much worse. His sister is a known and registered sex offender that the husband knows OP does not want around her kids. This man is a husband but more importantly a father 1st and he put that woman above his minor kids. No counseling or therapy for this man. Simply start documentation of all evidence, door bell records, phone, text, emails OP has access to, bank records, get a divorce attorney and go to the cops. There are classes for family and friends to take and councilors who help facilitate this. To be frank life in prison is where they really belong as they shouldn't be alone on the streets. More likely to sneak around and re-offend. i was molested by 3 people, and none got any jail time. 1 i know got therapy, and was forced to live with him as my mom couldn't handle 3 kids solo due to depression and caved. All he did was abuse me differently such as mental and emotional. I was forced to se him as a dad and parent, and when i confronted him he dared claim he "made up for it." being molested, more so as a young child destroys you. More so if you LIVE or are AROUND the person who did it. all my abusers were aloud to be around kids, my uncle never lot custody of his daughters, and the teacher who molested me just moved to cub scouts and boy and girls club. I grew up nearly living in therapy, my early years i had night terrors every night till i was in second grade. (i was molested at age 4). Sex offenders are better off in jail, or institute that they can be away from children, and be supervised 100%.

Art Project Story: Aww... wish we heard more like this. Tampon Story: I thought it was the MIL at first. A snap onesie she knows OP doesn't like sounds like a MIL thing to do, but this is far worse. Thing is - the older daughter didn't bring it up. Which leads me to believe she was told to not tell and keep a secret. This is so dangerous because the SIL likely took this as an opportunity to abuse her. The chance of offending again is extremely high, even when they've been punished and in therapy. This is 100% the fault of the husband for not taking the charges seriously, or not caring. I will never knowingly allow my kids about someone on a sex offender list, no matter how "innocent" they appear to be. Hope for the best, plan for the worst-especially in these cases. Sex offenders are often good at manipulating people. Look at how many cases where someone was accused/convicted and no one was any the wiser about what kind of person they are. Also, sadly, families of the abuser often side with the abuser because they're embarrassed that they didn't know and would rather the victim be a liar than facing up to the reality that they couldn't protect victims-or they want to save face. It baffles me the lengths people will go to to not be wrong. This is part of how the cycle is perpetuated. I'd get the oldest child into therapy and see what comes out. Unfortunately OP will likely find that she's been abused. And honestly, not so sure of the husband. He may've been abusing the daughters as well. He was definitely complicit at the very least and that's bad enough. It's common for more than one person to perpetrate abuse in a family. I hope OP gets far away from these people and the courts decide it isn't in the children's best interest for dad to have unsupervised visits with the kids. I hope OP gathers the evidence and gets an RO from them both temporarily until the divorce goes through.

I remember hearing story 2 without the final update. It ended with the update where OP’s kids were in different clothes and it was such a cliffhanger.
