Sips is overall my favourite content creator and has been for years. It's probably due to being a fellow Canadian-born of the same age group as him, so I get a lot of the references and jokes he makes more than most of his younger audience might, but also because I just have a very similar sense of humour to him in general. He NEVER fails to make me laugh. That being said, even I have to admit that his inability to grasp some very simple game mechanics or concepts can be very "patience-testing" at times. One example that I remember the most is whenever he plays a Bethesda game (or any game with a compass HUD or minimap in general, of which he has played MANY), he almost never actually uses it when he's in combat. He's constantly looking around wondering where people are attacking him from, when there are very clear big red dots in the direction that the enemies are in. Like I said, I love the guy to death and probably will until the day he inevitably retires, but I can admit that his lack of game awareness can be a little agitating at times. haha

I don't really watch streamers because I care about the game, I watch them to be entertained. Watching sips stream is like giving the controller to my Uncle. He has no clue how to do anything, but he seems to notice/enjoy the little things and it makes me happy.

This really summarized the experience of watching sips perfectly. He's the perfect advertisement for the games he plays, because as Mark said, you immediately feel the need to go play the game yourself and be good at it. Sips is the reason I bought Griftlands.

But that is Sips and why he is awesome. You can be watching and being frustrated with him for 20 minutes and then he will do get killed or do something and be sooo funny. But then also when he gets it and is soo happy and you are like "HURRRAY" as well.

Sips is a genius. He plays with that part of our brains that wants someone else to be worse at something than you are. So you end up buying the game, playing the game to be better but end up swiftly turning the game off to go and carry on watching him struggle with it because damn he's entertaining.

Yeah, that's what I always loved about Sips' content. No matter how many times he's played a game he's still as clueless as he was when he first started and oftentimes it's hilarious. It can be frustrating, like any KZbinr that doesn't know what they're doing in a game, but with Sips he usually turns it into an art.

the time in poly bridge when you had to create two draw bridges, sips creates one perfectly and then the second one he takes literal hours to never figure out. All the while chat is telling him to just copy first one and he's progressively getting angrier and angrier
