The animatronics are nowhere near as scary as they were in 1-4 because they thought it was a good idea to give the robots personalities and make them feel more alive. In the earlier games they were mysterious animatronics thirsty for revenge, now all we have are narcissistic animatronics

Thats why i have never liked limited ammo and health items in horor games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill because needing to restart the games from the beginning again if you waste your stuff too much is just frustrating and not scary at all. In the old Resident Evil games and other old horror games you even needed a limited item to save the game.

The lack of autosave is a GLARING issue. As someone who finally started playing the game yesterday, I was enjoying it until the DJ Music Man section. Every flaw this game has is on shameless display in the Fazcade and it has made me rethink my opinion on it. At best? Steel Wool's team is either unable to code an autosave in any capacity due to lack of knowledge, or are ignorant enough to think that manual saving Only is a 'fun high-stakes challenge' At worst? They deliberately made a mean-spirited, anti-player choice for the sake of artificially inflating the game's difficulty due to how primitive their animatronics are.

I think they finally added an save for the final part of the game in a patch. Iirc the usual save spots remain unusable, but there's 1 spot in the entire map where you can save the game. OH wait, you meant autosave. Ah, i guess they still haven't added it or at least made it a toggleable option after all these patches

This game has SO MUCH potential. I feel like if they either tested it more, or took more time making it, it could be so much more. I truly love this game. Yes it’s very buggy and it has simply bad designs in areas (example being the save system) but the characters, atmosphere, and story line is nice to me.

I'm close to finishing the game... and I'm ready to give up. It made me rage more than I thought possible and it makes me want to rant, which I'll do right here because I'm still mad. First off, the save system is TERRIBLE. It could all be saved by a simple auto-save feature but no. It'll make you trek through cutscenes, and worst of all, playing that damned Simon Says mini game with Freddie - which you CANNOT rush! You have to wait for the instructor to finish talking every... single... time. Hit (X) to take off that bowtie before he's done talking? Die. And hey! You finished it! Congrats! Now it's time for Moondrop to spawn ontop of you to make you dead. And no autosave! You do it allll over agaaaaain~ The STAFF Bots are horrendously frustrating. They seem like such a lazy inclusion by the devs to inflate the difficulty and it's not even fun to get by them like it is with the actual enemies. They spin and circles and sometimes teleport to instantly grab you. That's it. And you would think the laser blaster would help with them, but no. It works better on the super killer animatronics for some reason. The teleporting in general is insane. Like I get the teleporting - it's been a thing since FNAF1... but it being a dice roll on being instakilled is infuriating too. And then there's summoning Freddie, hearing him spawn a floor below you, in an entirely separate section of the map, and stop around for nearly a whole minute before he gets to you. Or sometimes he straight up gets stuck. There were even moments of me looking straight at him from ten feet away, hitting the Freddie button, then he just vanishes to run at me from somewhere else. Then there's the glitches, bugs, and performance issues in general. For the longest time, I couldn't play the game past the daycare because of a game breaking glitch. I had to wait for it to be patched. Thankfully it was fixed, and I got to get back to the game recently... but there's just so much that kept popping off to take me out of the game, from the levels vanishing, to enemies getting stuck onto of walls, to the abysmal 2 fps drops that would sometimes happen at the WORST time: when being chased. I can go on. I really can. It's such a shame because I find the story interesting, the environments awesome, and the character designs great. The game even has a good variety of objectives, the camera hacking system is very useful, and using Freddie like remote mech suit is pretty cool. It has many elements to be a fun horror game, but it does so much to make you feel cheated and overly punished. I just recently beat Alien Isolation beforehand, which is a fairly similar game to this one... but rarely ever did I feel cheated when I died in that game (which was a lot because it's hard). And when I did die, it didn't punish me by making me watch cutscenes or playing an agonizing game of Simon Says six times. Thus, it's own fewer glitches aside, I still had horrific heart-pounding fun! As much as it pains me to say this... just go play Alien Isolation instead. FNAF:SB game is just too frustrating, as much as I want to like it. Rant over! And thanks for the video. Watching Mark scream at the game has been cathartic for me.

Looks like the devs realized that FNAF games are getting bland and aren't that scary anymore, so they put up a plan to make people scream again like they did back when FNAF 1 came out... just not in the way that was intended. I heard it got patched several times ever since the initial release but apparently the game is still buggy and unfair lol. I guess you're right, save yourself the pain and just watch someone else play the game/find another game to play.

@@MaxerV19 It's such a shame because I really want to like it. Conceptually, this one would've been my favorite too. Had they let it sit in the oven for a lot longer, I probably wouldn't be here. But now the game just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. But hey, if it ever gets a sequel... I can only pray that the team learns its lessons. But who am I kidding? Releasing broken games is a trend that isn't dying fast enough.

I was having fun too till the game-breaking daycare bug made me wait till it was patched. It made lots of players CTD. I didn't play for months after that - after it was patched. I started having fun again until enemies would - no joke - spawn either five feet away (zero time to run), or directly on top of me. All the other broken stuff mentioned above didn't help - felt like the game was STRUGGLING to keep it together many times. I beat Alien Isolation for the first time before jumping into this Security Breach. AI only gave me one huge bug - my screen wouldn't stop shaking, even after loading a save. That issue was fixed with an unfortunate entire chapter reload, but it's better than no fix at all or waiting for a patch. Other than that, AI was a solid terrifying experience that I still go back to. Security Breach? Unfortunately not.

I just find it funny that the give you two separate ways to stun the animatronics, via blinding them. But then they IMMEDIATELY introduce an enemy that CAN'T BE BLINDED. Like, wow this game sucks doesn't it? There's no way to stop Monty, because there's no other way to stun him, the item you get from his area is another blinding item. That's just poor game design, like there's no functional reason for the cameras existence because the laser pistol is just it but far superior. You know, when it works, which is situational at best. But like, did..., did the developers even put one braincell into this game besides making it look pretty? Every time I see anything about this game it just gets worse. XD

It's probably because when they were making the game they're all using the same computer model so during playtesting session, it was less buggy for them but they couldn't guarantee it to be the same for literally everyone else It's most likely a different reason i don't know much about game development

This game can just go to hell and burn. Literally any other FNAF game is better even FNAF 3. Help Wanted showed a lot of promise but then this game comes and flushes it all down the toilet. Scott and Steel Wool should be ashamed.
