thank you. i was googling some symptoms i was getting from my anxiety and this showed up in the top results. I dont really watch you anymore, did a lot when I was a kid and i needed this. Friday I've got a job interview, but it's given me an "oh, shit, I DON'T WANT THIS!" moment. I don't want to take an office job where i just look at monitors all day. I'd rather be a janitor. I guess it's stupid but I think I'm going to start applying for jobs as a janitor at a school near me. I like cleaning okay enough, and if I have to clean poop out of a urinal I don't have to question the average intelligence of adults. I've realized I've been struggling with the fact I can't apply for something, can't do something if I can't do it perfectly, that it's not worth risking if I don't have all the qualifications. I can't stand this. I'm going to take the risk and just apply for cool stuff anyways.

To anyone who sees this, feeling down on their luck or totally shitty and hopeless, just remember that it’s going to be better. That’s life. Happiness isn’t necessarily something you work towards. It’s more of a thing that exists in time. We experience happiness as moments of time. Some days will be shitty, some days will be amazing. Just know that you can experience the worst day of your life, but then tomorrow won’t be the worst day of your life. You could experience the best day of your life, and then have an even better day in the future. If you accept life for its good and bad, you will experience good as well as bad. But just know, good is coming. Good things will happen. So will bad things. It’s alright though, because there is no great or tragic ending. There’s always the morning after. Live for that morning. Experience joy, let yourself cry and feel shitty, but know that nothing is permanent. You will wake up tomorrow. And tomorrow will be different. Find meaning in tomorrow. Wake up and appreciate living another day. Life’s a bitch, but you keep living.

Same here. I'm 23 years old still struggling to get my High School diploma. I'm an extremely hard worker I've been told, but I do so bad when it comes to school/homework. I just recently got diagnosed with ADHD as well... Back in high school before I ultimately dropped out I faced many challenges, my mind was one of them. I was in and out of psychiatric hospitals my junior year, and I dropped out before I can move onto my senior year basically to save my own life. I was su*cidal for so long and didn't know what was wrong with me. But I know that You and I will make it through this. I'm still chasing my dream and working as hard as I can to get there but it's never going to be easy it's not meant to be. Anything that is worth fighting for or worth sacrificing for is never going to come easy, just keep pushing and never give up on yourself even if people tell you to quit trying. To take the easy way. To settle for something less than yourself or to settle for the absolute bare minimum. Don't do that. I understand depression more than I should, it's a dark and scary place sometimes but there is a light at the end if you keep going you just have to believe that it's there even when it doesn't seem like it.

6 years later, I lay in bed watching this video. A video that appeared on my feed at 2am after a day of worrying about the A-Level work i need to finish before school. This has helped me realise that i subconsciously hold myself back from achieving greatness due to my fear of failure. Hi, for who’s reading this. I’ve been feeling like a loser lately, for many reasons. The main one was for every teenage around me going to partys or going with friends to the beach, while in alone in my room. Because of this video I got the courage to get over my fear of rejection and to ask some friends to go out. They were more then happy:) if you got to read until here, I wanna tell you that it’s ok, it’s sucks but ok to feel alone. I come here on a yearly basis at this point, feeling worse than before each time. For a few years my life has been the same, like it is stuck in an endless loop. Same dream, same problems, same drama. I have never been diagnosed with anything on paper, but i can feel my mind slipping away from me and I feel like there is something genuinely wrong, and then on the other hand theres a voice that just tells me to stop overthinking and I am fine, many others have it worse than me. That voice usually wins lol Im losing count of how many times I have watched this, but despite everything happening around me it never fails to calm down my thoughts Thank you Mark
