Fabulous. You used the word, "inspiration". Your videos always inspire me to work just that little bit harder and smarter to develop a really special and natural look to the layout. Your research is also so important and something which so many people forget to do.

Thanks for this video. It was timely for me. I have a place where 3 tracks pass through a small mountain. There are no commercial portals for this, so I must either kit bash or build from scratch. You've helped me realize that building portals from scratch might be not so hard.

Looks so nice. I have seen a vid were you explain how to build a foam cutter with Kanthal wire. Why did you use 0,7mm and why the car batterie loader? Would like to build my own but don´t have the car batterie loader. Only a stabilized lab power station

I'm building a submarine pen and it's concrete color but the large roof and large walls need some weathering..Would the method used here work well on large surfaces...???

For more details. How to build the typical wooden textures in the concrete from the formwork board?
@marklinofsweden3 жыл бұрын
Hi! The wooden texture is not visible i H0-scale. If you look closely at the video I took of the prototype.. Can you see the wooden texture? That is 4 meters (12ft) away from the portal in real life.. The answer to your question is build or print and wooden plank wall (speuce or balsa) Mold your portal front in gypsum using the plank wall.

Great video! But how do you best get the boarded form concrete markings which you see in all your prototype pictures, like the horizontal lines which comes from the form boards when the concrete was poured a long time ago?

Hello, why adding alcool (IsoPropil?) when preparing the color mix? Thank you
@marklinofsweden2 жыл бұрын
Hi! It’s neccesary to reduce the water tension. Improves flow of paint over surface.

What happens if you get a derailment in one of these tunnels how. do you get the loco or wagons out as derailments sometimes happen fir no reasons
@marklinofsweden3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Tunnels are accessible from the inside. Inner tunnels are also typically no more than 30cm (1ft)
