I agree with the comment that had a wonderful suggestion. If the housekeeper quits, then make hubby and especially son clean the house. Maybe they’ll respect people more when they have to spend a weekend deep-cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. As for OP, I hope she does some self-reflection. She was so close to falling off the edge before she caught herself and started questioning the son. She needs to change her line of thinking more before it’s too little and too late. Story 3: I get the feeling BIL eats at weird times b/c OP told him that if he's going to eat with the family he has to follow the rules (no electronics, no music, must participate in family conversation), so he just removed himself from that situation. Also, if OP thinks staying out until 10pm is late, he's so out of touch with reality. When I was a teen I used to work until 11pm, and go out for tacos with cowokers after. Like, 10pm is pretty early if you're going out. Needing to be home by 8 is ridiculous, most parties/meet-ups don't start until 8 or 9 ffs.

To the parents of the friend that that called out their buddy for their assholish behavior - kudos for doing it right! 👏👏👏 But.... OMG MARK! I'm now home recovering from a BAAAAD asthma attack last week. I'm still quite ill and can barely speak but I'm happy to be in my own pj's in my home listening to my @MarkNarrations when I hear your spider mic mishap. I was laughing so hard my husband thought I stopped breathing. At least I would have died with a smile on my face! 🤣😂🤣

Story 2: NTA I wouldn’t leave a note for the mom, I’d leave one for Al. "This is your 30 day written move out notice." I am an *intensely* private person because growing up my parents would go through every drawer, clothes pocket, school notebook, etc Every. Single. Weekend. I wasn’t a bad kid before then but I rebelled HARD after that.

Story 1: NTA Your son is one of those people that thinks it's ok to make a fake call to 911 to SWAT an unsuspecting and innocent person. These aren't pranks, they are legitimately something that messes up the lives of everyone involved.

1. What is that nonsense the husband is blathering about? I'd be more angry at him than son I think. If my son had a history of that, hell would rain down in my house. After the first incident w/the kid, if I were the housekeeper I'd be looking for new clients. 2. If I catch you snooping in my home, I'm calling you out on it and tell you to knock it off or you won't be welcome back. 3. YTA Brother is an adult and you are being ridiculous.

Your boyfriends mother has zero absolutely zero right to go through your stuff. Don’t marry this man , he can’t stand up to mommy, not marrying material. Dump this dude he is NOT it.

The note prank really wasn’t a prank. Op is just trying to set up a boundary that her future MIL is tramping all over. I love the notes and tbh I would escalate with the butt plugs and other sexual paraphernalia. Don’t forget the whips, fuzzy hand cuffs and pretty underwear, get different sizes just screw with her head. If OP’s fiancé can’t support Op then it may be time to rethink the relationship, mama boys have a really hard time cutting the umbilical cord and it will cause problems in the future because Op can’t compete with mama, she won’t win.

Being around the op in the last story, no matter who you are, sounds physically and mentally draining. I can just tell in a few years he'll be in a nursing home if he doesn't change
