I've had 7 Hondas of all types. My 1997 Prelude is by the far the one I've enjoyed most, and around here in the Midwest, is usually the only of its kind in a parking lot or meet. The H22 torque and howl is fantastic.

@sheldonlamey70102 жыл бұрын
I like this series....the Odyssey did have VTEC and I think there's a special league where they only race Odyssey vans. The J series V6s are very powerful for what they are and are still used in Hondas and Acuras today. People are starting to tune these engines as well. Boosted boys had swapped an H22 prelude engine into an older Odyssey. The Odyssey was swapped to manual on the floor instead of Auto on the tree and boosted to make lots of power. I guess EG hatches can't be found under 5K and I think people are sleeping on the EJ1 coupes ( black civics from The Fast and the Furious).

First Gen CRV hands down one of the most slept on projects, you can throw a b16 or b18 head on the b20 block and can get some good power out of it. there's surprisingly a lot of good parts for them and also the share the same parts as the civic (EM,EK) since they are brother and sisters and share the same chassis.

Thinking back I wish I swapped it for manual… maybe I’ll try and find manual first gen soon. I already miss my automatic :(( I gotta correct you on the engine though, the second gens do have K series (k20/k24), but the first gens are B series (b20b/z) so the second gens are definitely a little stronger engine wise.
