New to shrimpn’, I’ve learned a lo watching your channel. I’ve got a planted 50gal w/ about 20 ghost shrimp & a bunch of snails. I’ve finally gotten my water parameters dialed in. I started using powdered flake after watching that video, have an insane amount of biofilm. I now have a few buried females, gonna be shrimp papa soon. I’m about to set up a 20 gallon I’m planning on using some bricks, that’s going to be a cherry shrimp tank, Looking forward to that. Keep up the awesome work.

Truly Stunning Mark, i bought 3 from Belfast, arrived today ( 2 females 1 male ), climatized over 2hrs, then into their new tank slowly, i covered the tank for the night until they settle, been after these for a while now, stoked m8. these will start my new colony.

The hand dont bother me one bit. The big snail rolling in was awesome along with all the activities from the shrimp and MTS snails .. and of coarse i love fast-mo and music. By the way i had bricks my grandpa and my dad used NOT for shrimp but for tanks and i miss having them. I noticed new age bricks are not pourous as the older bricks so i dont waste my time. Thanks Mark , I enjoyed this pleasant video. ✌💕🙏

But it's such a lovely hand! 😂 I like to know which part you are talking about, so the pointing helps, in my opinion.....

What is the apparatus blowing out air (bubbles) in the top left of the tank? Some type of oxygenator? The OE Blues are really beautiful.

Hi Mark, I see a lot of tanks that have tetras as well as cherry shrimp. How is the best way to keep them together? If your only doing a 10% water change I would assume that it should be lightly stocked with small fish. In a heavily planted aquarium can you stock a bit more as the plants are consuming the nitrates? and if you have minimal nitrates should you do a water change at all?
@MarksShrimpTanks5 жыл бұрын
hello there, I dont keep shrimp and fish together at all as I have yet to find a fish that doesnt eat baby shrimp and yes I do water changes regardless of what reading I get on test kits, nitrate for example I I dont get a reading in any of my tanks using different test kits the result is always the same.

Hi Mark!!! i started recently my battle on Crossbreeding. BTOE are the only tigers i have. Are they good to cross with cristal/Taiwan? i know ppl prefer to use Tangerine. Is there any significant difference?
@MarksShrimpTanks4 жыл бұрын
you should give them a try and see what you can make would be interesting to see
@aquaticshrimparinho67374 жыл бұрын
@@MarksShrimpTanks well I already have some mischlings from Cristal. For some reason Taiwan x btoe are not breeding. I got some cool shrimps on f1 from Cristal. Some sort of glass looking with some colors but no patterns. No orange eyes seen yet but still amazing looking shrimps. I can't wait to see them full grown and see what this strain will become

hi Mark, I want to start my cross breed project. have been watching your video been a while. I am still confuse where to start. my goal is to breed my own pinto with tiger strip. as I am in Australia, not many shrimp I could get.... I got some white bee and pinto , and got some mischling from them at the moment.... I am aming to add OEBT blue tiger and wanting to add some tiger gen. so do you have any info where and how to start? cheers
@MarksShrimpTanks4 жыл бұрын
Hello, any tiger would work really, OEBT would be a great starting place, The OEBT would be the pattern and you could choose a bee shrimp like crystal red or crystal black or any other taiwan bee or pinto for its color and see what you get. its better to have them in their own tank also, can be like pain drying waiting on them to breed but when they do you get more young surviving, any questions fee free to ask my friend :)

I didn’t know they were blind. Are they blind in the wild or has this happened by over breeding? Love the big monster snail at the end - everyone out of the way theirs food LOL

First time I'm on this channel. Seeing the Norwegian flag, but trying to interpret the accent had my brain utterly confused for far longer than I care to admit :D

Ive breed them on an low and high pH before, I think they do best on neocaridina parameters.

here is a crazy question. what shrimp can I keep at 82F ?? that are not neocaridina
@MarksShrimpTanks5 жыл бұрын
Sulawesi shrimp, can be hard to source though as they dont travel very well.

Those bricks in the aquarium might be beneficial for the shrimps however it does not look beautiful nor natural in that way.
