Especially if you live in a significantly smaller country where it doesn't have nearly as much clientele as a country with 10s or 100s of millions of people. Plus in the 3rd world our money isn't as strong i.e. we dont get much bang for our buck. So we may be unable to charge the same premium. It's not impossible even in the 3rd world, but it is significantly more difficult. Like where I'm from there are a lot of systematic things in place to keep those who aren't rich from decades ago from getting rich or being able to compete with the elite and their businesses

Literally came up with an idea because of this. So one of the steps was to productise our services…. Well that’s a business within itself is it not? You could offer a service which helps businesses productise their services. Could take a percentage of each service sold or a one time fee for the productisation. You could also do bundle deals as the best way to position a product is to have low, medium and high products which could be a package within itself again….. Am I on to something hear?

Secondly, coding, building websites, forget it. Your main competitors are all in low wage countries and they can do it faster and cheaper than you. Coding is on it's last leg presently, if you have to start learning today then don't bother. AI already does it better than you, and the only reason coders are still being hired (are they though?) is because the industry has not yet caught up with the AI storm completely just yet. The future of coding belong to AI assisted software designers. It's not an "entry level" job, certainly not a side hussle.

I was responding to the "suggestion" for good business ideas to start with. They aren't, they won't scale, I know because I've tried, and while i may have had some "bad luck" along the way, that is just the reality of being in business for yourself, you're far more likely to be "unlucky" than you are to be one of the lucky few. I feel that someone needs to point out that it's extremely unlikely that you will succeed in growing a business, and ESPECIALLY if your idea of success is getting rich off it. It's just really really unlikely. But yeah, you should try, just know that your businesses, especially your first ones, will likely end up in the default statistics sooner or later. Don't overinvest in them! Don't think you just need to work harder, you need to wake up and think!
