I worked with Markus for a few years in the 90s and he is exactly who you see here. His studio was full of amazing spacecraft miniatures for a movie project he was trying to make happen. His apartment was modeled to look like the interior of a Mayan temple with hanging plants and faux carved stonework. There were fountains and the place even smelled like you were in the deep jungle. Amazingly smart and clever guy.

I recently unsub cuz I was like, "omg we get it, you're super rich" But at the end of this video, I cried. What a beautiful life you've made for yourself. I've been suffering from a pinched nerve for the past 5 years. 2 yrs ago replaced 2 cervical disc in my spine and nothing has changed. I have a small channel+ a struggling hot sauce company. I sometimes give up but my gf has been my rock. I'm still struggling with depression to keep fighting. I'm glad you made this video, and im glad I saw it. I misjudged you. I apologize. Wow you're an absolute genius. I recently donated $2000 to a friend's funeral, I've never made any big donations like that before. It felt amazing. I want to be able to do that on a larger level some day. For example, I just saw a comment on another video that I watched before this one. It was a 36 year old vet who is dying because the VA won't fund his treatments that he needs and he doesn't think he will survive past the summer because of this. I wish I could fund his whole treatment.

I just watched this dude enthusiastically explain the benefits of using $23 NP batteries for lighting rigs instead of proprietary crap and how it can save your a bunch of time, weight and effort. And watching the second video I find out he is an actual genius. Why? Because has followed his heart his whole life and put in the maximum effort... BUT he never stuck around putting effort into something his heart was no longer in! This is the takeaway lesson.

From the very first video I saw you sharing about the small portable Stella light, I knew you were someone special. I didn’t know you were famous or had accomplished so many things, But you had a I don’t give a shit attitude I’m just sharing what I know. You didn’t flaunt your wealth and you were not arrogant at all. I am very inspired by you and your story and I completely watched that video on the Stella light at least 10 times! I didn’t go with the Stella light because of the expensive price so I did buy two aperture lights which you were completely right.
