Look at the host sitting politely behind Mark. He is clearly pleased and proud of their product, the Kurobota pork. I love the Japanese ethic of perfection and simplicity.

I was born in Kagoshima and still live there. Thank you for introducing me to Kagoshima. In other countries, Japanese cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka are famous, but Kagoshima is not so well known. However, Kagoshima is the prefecture with the second largest amount of food shipments in Japan. This means that there are many delicious foods and ingredients. It is also the prefecture with the second largest number of hot spring sources in Japan. We recommend visiting Kagoshima if you like good food and hot springs.

Loving this Japan this series so far Mark! It just amazes me how hard they work to produce the best of every meat, fruit & vegetable I've ever seen. I bet it's as delicious as it all looks too. The pride they have in what they do is admirable and the hospitality they show you seems top notch. What a beautiful culture. Thanks for all the great work you put into showing us these wonderful parts of the country and the people who live and work there. Wishing you and your family safe travels too.
