Thanks so much Mark for having me on and getting me out of my Thai food comfort zone. I loved it. It was great to try some new dishes! To the haters, I was just joking around with Mark about his love of spicy food. Friends rib each other! We've known each other for a long time. He's not greedy, he's awesome! Much love Mark!

I typically love all his videos, but I had to give a thumbs down this time. I think when you have a guest you don't ruin their food as well. Maybe get a extra plate and bowl. I don't think someone can enjoy their good if it's ruined with too much spice.

+Sandy Hey Sandy, Ying and I both asked Matt before we started filming if we he wanted to get extra plates, but he said no - let's just eat it together. And for adding chili, I planned to sprinkle on a bit, and mix it in, and actually this chili isn't hot, it's more for flavor. And I know Matt, I've eaten with him, he can handle that amount! This video shows 10 minutes of our entire hour of sitting there... sometimes you can't see everything that goes on in the video.

Lovely video. You, Mark, are part of an Elite Group (that is how I see it, pardon my vanity!) of KZbinrs to whom I give an immediate Thumbs Up, before I have even seen the video. You and a select group of others never let me down. This was a very enjoyable video and I have now subscribed to Nomadic Matt, so thank you for introducing me to his work. The thing that I most resent about haters is that when a viewer makes an a comment intended as honest fun, banter, it then gets taken up by the haters and used and twisted to mean something totally different. It makes the innocent person feel really rotten. So ugly. I have been caught out like that. Another amazing video.

Rad Na is not something Westerners are going to like right off the bat. The goopy texture is very strange at first. I used to not like it much. Now that I understand the dish, I love it. Has to have vinegar and peppers and lots of prik Thai (I also put a tiny spoon of sugar and fish sauce on there). My wife always says "taste it first" but I always prep it the same way. Way to show how it's done Mark!
