I just need to tell you something. I originally started watching you due to the Tokyo/Japanes series you have on your channel. As I watched every single one of those videos, I started to go through all the other ones. And I must say Mr.Wiens, you sure are remarkable! The love and passion you have for food is out of this world! I smile EVERY TIME you take a first bite of something, tilting your head to the side as you describe every dish you and your wife's eating. LOVE, LOVE your channel! Don't ever stop making videos :)

Mark and Ying- As a teacher at Thammasat University, I am so proud of you two-who are always living a good life and doing good things for Thailand's tourism sake. As Thai, I am so proud of Mark saying 'MooSatay' instead of 'Pork Satay'. You are so Thai, Mark! The guard at Grand Palace and Wat Pho should give you a free entrance : ) Ying, love to see you, your family (for sure- including your pluffy dog) more often on the channel.

Mark- Tua Pap is nade from Mung Bean (in Thai-Tua Keaw: Green Bean). You should springle sugar and black sesame a little over it. It is not for sweetness; instean it is for flavour.

The lean is cute, but always to the right. How about switching it up once in a while? Also you always make your eyes bug out which looks at first as if you are choking, and it's a bit unnerving. Oh well, it's your signature, so I may have to stop worrying about you when you bug out your eyes.

+Vitus Bröse That's why he stays thin. Thais eat smaller portions and don't eat butter, bread, wheat pasta and lots of fresh veggies.

Most of Thai food is made from vegetables, meat, seafood and some medical herbs which is able to help you gain less energy than bread or cheese and Thai food also has less fat. I recommend this for another way to diet :)

+Bill Kirchenbauer not to be rude, but you said they don't eat butter when at 9:12 he was eating toast with garlic and butter

Thais as a rule don't keep butter in their kitchens. They don't cook with it and they don't slather it on their food. I live there half of the time...so I know what i'm talking about.

It's so sad to see so much plastic bags being used. Thailand and so many Asian countries just don't care about the environment.

+SentinelPrimek It's not that they don't care, they're just not as developed as we are, (United States, Europe) in general. Even here in America, we use plastic bags all the time. Awareness is spreading slowly throughout the states, but for the most part, we still use bags extensively. Plastic bags are also really cheap compared to using compost products, styrofoam and other plastic containers. In fact, aside from China, USA produces some of the highest amounts of pollution and some Asian countries like Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia aren't even in the top 20 most polluted countries in the world. Which is worse: Extensive use of plastic bags or moderate use of cars that use fossil fuels as its primary source of fuel? We both know it's the latter.

The worst part is that the government does jack shit to help with recycling and cleaning up. We still use plastic bags a fair bit in Australia but we're pretty good with recycling (for the most part) It's drilled into our heads since we're kids from advertising etc. Not to mention littering is a hefty fine. Also I can't really blame the smaller businesses for using it as it's cheaper and most of them only just scrape by as it is.

mart3h I agree and thank you for understanding.

SentinelPrimek Not so. Stores in Taiwan stopped using plastic bags years ago. Much more environmentally advanced than the States.
