Dear Mark and Ying, I'm a 61yr old Grand-Mother, Great- Grand and Mom of 5 girls. I love your videos!! You guys are just wonderful! As a treat for all of us you need to film Ying alittle more and show abit of her daily life with you, Mark. She's so beautiful and lovely too. I pray for both your safety in this time of turmoil in the world as you travel.

there's no turmoil at all? The earth has allways had issues, and allways will. A wise person should recognize this
@user-dw6kx4nl2z8 жыл бұрын
***** SO, my comment on praying for safety these days for 2 lovely people that are doing what they love, is a bad thing? NO, I think you are the one who needs to learn compassion and kindness. As for growing up, don't you have to be 18 to be on the web and or have a parent controlling the child? This will be my only comment on the issue at hand.

Merry Christmas. Jesus loved fish. When he was ressurected the first thing he did was to eat some fish and honey comb. Jeasus is the reason for the season. May Jesus bless you this next year! --I usually oven roast my fish I forget you can boil it in a soup. I eat Talapia (farm raised), sometimes Cod...and Tuna cans. I love shrimpies too! A quick boil to thaw them and YUM (maybe into the stir fry). I ordered Thai fried rice the other day and asked them to add ten shrimps...YUM!

Dude... black folks have been eating this stuff all our lives! Lol.... they aren’t called knuckles... they are HAM HOCKS! The “pork leg” is called a shank! Pigs feet are still called Pigs feet... pig intestines are called Chitterlings in my world. Come to the Southern US and sample the same things but in a different way. I love your videos, people eat the same things ALL over the world, so I am like you.... I eat everything! Love it! Enjoy! I’m a street eater like you!!!

thank you very much for making these vids. i found very helpful informations and recommendations in that. its about 1 year ago, i started exploring Southeastasia by myself and maybe at the same time i started follow your work on youtube. i very enjoyed the bangkok series and after traveling some other countries in SEA, i´ll come in some days to bangkok for the first time. i hope to have nearly the same fun as you and your wife. comparing with the first vids you published to now, there´s a permanent development in your work. At no time, these vids are so professional like in this time. And i know, thats not only walk on the street and find some food. it´s a hard work and the result is to watch it more than on time. i think, you´re actually in a professional level, in which are playing not so many other bloggers. So go on with your work and keep this man you´re now. snowy greetings from germany...

+joyjoyoo Thank you very much. To answer your question, almost never... and one of the things I've learned in Thai culture is that food is not taken away if half eaten (takeaway is only for a full dish, like if you don't want to sit and eat there). So that's why I always try to finish everything we order while sitting at the restaurant. Merry Christmas!

Comment on the pork stuff he (Mark) is eating we call in southern parts of America is ham hocks for both. We cook it just about the same with our greens(turnip,mustard and collards) and cabbage. You can also just boil them and eat alone like the second one. It very common here in Southern part of America.
