It was dirty. But not too the point where it makes you feel uncomfortable. Paris is dirty. So is basically all main city. Go to Greece. Athens is great. Chalkida has great beaches without being insanely filled with tourists. The people are friendly and its cheap. The history is awesome. Mind blowing

I went to Mykonos in exactly 5 years ago and I can honestly say it’s the best holiday that I have been on. The local people were so kind and lovely they made me feel so welcome.

The expression on Micha's face everytime dad took a bite is priceless bless him. Even though this video is a few yrs old i couldn't get over how cheap some of the meals and snacks were, even that huge meal at the end for everything only coming to E99 is damn good value, Jesus, the amount of meat was something else lol and finally, after working in a Greek restaurant i was expecting to see Mousaka on the menu but maybe in another episode in the future. I do have to say that Greek cuisine is amongst the best in the world and way under-rated. Loved the video from start to finish.

I am a Greek American. Greek food is really great. If you don't eat meat or fish, Greek food has so many dishes without that. I enjoy the Greek Salad, the Green Bean stew. My favorite, with a piece of feta on the side. Spinach pie, oh my its terrific. The pastries are to die for. My mother always made home made yogurt. With home made dark cherries for a topping. So true. The strong Middle Eastern and Balkan element of Greek culture (since the ancient Hellenistic times up to the Byzantine-and-Ottoman Empire) makes Greece much more hospitable and very different than Western Europe. Greece essentislly has nothing Western European as a cultural aspect and I believe that is a very good thing.

I've been to Greece many many times and it is the best place on this earth. The food is healthily simple but well prepared and tasty. The people are friendly and the sound of Cicadas is almost their national anthem, especially at dusk whilst eating some delicious BBQ and drinking an ice cold bottle of FIX Hellas.

For example spagetti descendant of noodles or pitsa descendant of 'plakous' or 'πλακούς' in Greek (so that you can look it up) And did you know that italians and spanish used to buy, at a low price all these years, the Greek olive oil in order to improve their own? Do you know that more than 80% of Greek olive oil is extra virgin, without even trying to do so? We are talking about the whole olive oil of the entire country. look it up. Italians may be good promoters but Greeks are blessed, thank Christ!

My wife is 100% Greek. We live in the states tho. I went to Greece for the first time and EVERY morning I was there I had Sweet Bugatsa (similar to spinach pie just for breakfast) and Fredo Espresso whipped with ice every day, the food in Greece is amazing.

Going to Greece ,on a cruise, this Fall…thank you for showing us sooooo many wonderful places to visit, and foods to try! Everything is so fresh and cooked with love and care…looks delish! In 2019, we visited Corfu (also on a cruise ,of the Mediterranean) and was treated to a wonderful Greek meal in a local restaurant, high in the hills. It was fabulous. Many thanks again!

Greece executing genocide towards hundreds and thousands of ethnically Macedonians who lived in Aegean Macedonia to clean them out of their own homes and land (Now called Northern Greece) and the The 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey to erase any trace of Macedonia or Macedonian in that region. Visits Greece May 2023 ; I most definitely will save -Up diligently & go back to visit this Beautiful land once again. The people ; so friendly & lovely; the amazing fresh cuisine, the beautiful blue seas. Despite Santorini being extremely crowded the time we visited; I’ll totally GO Back & visit again. Perhaps in Late September this time. The Greek isles; Mykonos, Aegina, Paros, Santorini are just absolutely breathtaking!!! Architectural beauty in Athens is spectacular. The country may have its Ups & Downs; but it’s surely will remain a tourist haven for a long long time😍😍😍!!!

I have been to Greece three times, just as lovely every time. The Greeks are so friendly and hospitable overall, but I have noticed a difference from the 80's until now. It was way better back in the days, these days Greeks have become like everyone else. Mistrust is the strongest force. I understand them 100%
