Mark I've never met anyone even close to how positive you are. You appreciate the small things in life and some people don't learn to do that until they are much older or sometimes not at all. Ive learnt to enjoy and appreciate the small things as well but that's because of the limitations put on me from my bad health. There is always a positive in every situation for example getting through a shower without collapsing or being well enough to visit a friend even though I'm in pain etc etc I take an interest in evrything and I choose to be positive and happy. Your ability to meet people and immediately have a conversation and share a meal or snacks because you are so open to new people and experiences. Im not sure if you know this saying 'you are down to earth' which basically means you are a good guy who treats everyone with respect. Your guide was so lovely and I could tell she was so proud introducing her native food to you. The people that you have interacted with were so nice and welcoming. It was adorable seeing Micah talk with the local children. Adults could learn a lot from watching children. They don't have the prejudices that a lot of us adults have. I've always felt this but I'm not sure if I've ever put it in the comments section so please forgive me if I ever repeat myself. Everytime I watch your videos I feel a strong need to tell you how the video make me feel which brings out my excitement and I want you to know that if I feel this way then thousands of other people do as well. Mark you are a world game changer and you are bringing so many people together both over youtube but also at dinner parties when the topic turns to you and I for one have always been excited to learn about how different cultures live and you have been a great teacher. I feel that Micah will also bring people together because you and Ying are his best role models. Never underestimate how many lives you change just by being you and making everyone come together over a shared love of food. Food is the one thing that can unite many different people. I hope that you are all well and that you are making sure you get plenty of rest because I know how hard you all work. Sorry that I couldn't be a bit more concise to avoid such a long comment. Xx

I like this video because I can tell you're not fetishising or tokenising the culture in any way but truly respect it and see yourself on the same level as the people. Highlighting the positives to show respect to others home & lifestyle. Showcasing real local people, asking questions & describing things without any condescending undertones and not constantly comparing everything to the western culture. So refreshing compared to the other tourist videos out there, especially about Ghana. Well done!
