I love listening to Jersey sing and watching her dance around! I love Vinny subtitle videos because he has much to say about everything and sometimes its incredibly funny. I love seeing Fiona with her tiny face and itty bitty finch features! I love all of the birds. so videos where you explain things are super interesting and I really like learning about birds and bird behavior.

@@MARLENEMCCOHEN How do you manage so many birds of different sizes? We're considering adopting another bird, but I have some concerns on how my GCC will adapt. I assume he'd be jealous so I'm afraid he might provoke a larger bird or injure a smaller one. We would give them both their own personal space, but have you experienced some squabbles when you introduce new birds to you flock? How do you make sure injuries don't occur between the birds? Yours seem to coexist well so it does give me hope that it could be possible! Ours had a very jealous phase (maybe terrible twos) although he's been getting better especially after getting exposed to new things.. But since he's been the only bird living with us for the last 4 years so I'm worried they'll be issues. Would appreciate some advice if you can share 😊 Thanks!

Wish I had known about your channel earlier. I absolutely love all your birds. I am a bird lover myself. I had an Eclectus female parrot for 13 years and she died in 2014 from what I think, either a heart attack or too many egg laying. I am happy to have found your channel and now I am subscribed and looking forward to all the adventures.

People think I'm crazy because I have 7. I'm glad to know there are other crazy bird parents out there. I love your family and enjoy seeing your posts. I would love to hear more about how you handle having your big birds around your little ones. My big birds are afraid of the little ones. I'm afraid they might bite because they are afraid. You have such a diverse group and they all coexist out of cages. It's very impressive how they all get along. What did you do to accomplish a cohesive flock?

I have 18 budgies, 3 Finch and my beautiful African Grey Chipper. Glad to meet yours. I have a few that are comfortable in their cage. But the majority I have spend 80% outside it. Our dogs are respectful as is my new Rat I just got I named Cleo.

I love you birds! We have a cockatiel named Pip (Pippy or Pippers). He holds grudges if you don't say good morning to him when you first walk into the living room or say hi when coming home if we headed out. Lol We sure do love him though. We live in Virginia and have a stink bug problem. Our kitchen was invaded by hundreds of baby grass hoppers in June.

I'm currently investigating trade and traffficking in wild grey and senegal parrots and orange-cheeked finches in my work. Honestly, because I hadn't any experience of parrots before, I've become used to the conditions they're kept in but seeing them like this drives home that they're individuals with different personalities and makes me more motivated to protect them.

I used to have pantry moth in my bird food too Use all airtight containers for any and all dry food, treats, etc Use vinegar with water and peppermint to kill larvae and live moths Be careful of sticky traps because although they work, it’s going to be near impossible to get a parrot out of a trap Throw away any infested food and freeze any food that doesn’t have webbing or moths

How do you stop the birds from touching the super sticky moth traps?

We put the traps next to where we keep the bird seed in our garage and inside our pantry and Costco room. Also the traps get closed into a rectangle so the glue isn’t exposed.

Oh I *seriously* understand that moth problem. For a while, every time I’d get seed for the parrots, the box would be filled with moth eggs. It literally didn’t stop until I started buying a different brand, and it took about 2 years to get rid of them all! I’m still finding moths in the house to this day

Thanks, At one time my wife and I had about 15 parrots and conjurers including Green wing and Blue and gold Macaws, Cockatoos, Amazons and others ... we had to start working so much that we could not spend enough time with them and yes our house was full of moths!

Unless I missed them, it's been a few years since you did focused videos on one bird at a time. Like the ones where you introduced Cody, gave her background story and how you got her, etc. I would LOOOOOOOOOVE to watch separate videos on each bird!!! Clips of dancing or play or typical thing they do, their favorite toys, personality, story/age where possible, etc. That would be so fun! :D
