Marley Ridding BT battery replacement

I have not had luck yet finding a replacement battery pack but I took the wrapping off of The two battery cells and there is a narrow circuit board in the battery pack so it might be something very special and probably expensive. please post in here if you found a source for the replacement battery. I will probably make another video showing the disassembly battery pack with the circuit board.

Same problem here. Nice to see we can access the battery, so we can eliminate that repeat”charging” “charging” “charging” next question is,, my new Marley only came with usb cable. No charging block😩 now I see it’s a 7.4 volt battery,, aargh,, maybe we wouldn’t be having charging issues, if they provided a charger🤷‍♂️ it only makes sense that my phone charger blocks and computer usb provides only 3.3 to 5.0 volts,,,did anyone get a Marley power block to charge the riddim🤷‍♂️ contacting the distributor with these questions is as tough as making a dr appointment during covid😡

these are a common 18650 liion battery used on notebooks and flashlights i recommend a pair of 18650 Panasonic Ncr18650b , you must use the same circuit board of the old pack and solder on the new pair of batteries

Battery has a special circuit board. Contacted the company, said not available, offered me a discount coupon on another unit. Kind of pissed off.

Sorry, but I don't quite understand what the problem is exactly.. Why can't you unsolder this twin 18650 battery sandwich and solder two new batteries of the same capacity? What could go wrong?

@@JnJShiffler these are a common 18650 liion battery used on notebooks and flashlights i recommend a pair of 18650 Panasonic Ncr18650b , you must use the same circuit board of the old pack and solder on the new pair of batteries

@@kovernick they have no idea that what are doing , two 18650 will go fine ,even better if are bigger capacity like panasonic 3400mah
