Awesome setup there and I agree with you on the Dark series! I remember when the Dark series first came out and I think it had a large loop for gloves and came with it wrapped in paracord along with a paracord sling. These new loops look like they have a swelled out normal loop contouring the back of your hand. I wonder about the barrel profile as well. The stock looks a little weird, but the comb hight is adjustable for dots or scopes, so it should be comfortable. Good shooting my friend!

Thank you! Lol, ran into work after shooting as we have a 45-70 Dark Series in to compare. Definitely think the newer levers may be more comfortable. Wrong caliber but the barrel appears to be the same profile. It has a push button safety and I found it awkward at least with just in store manipulating. The synthetic stock I think I'll like. It's part of the reason it's lighter than one shown. But..... w/out a real lightweight silencer I don't see it helping countering front weight adding difficulty to reloading. Maybe one day I'll have my own if not one to test out.
