Hi Paula. You got me addicted to this about a year ago. I find myself going just a little more, just a little more, every time I dig into the Marmite jar. A few months back I was desperate for my marmite pasta but limited for time. I boiled a packet of Ramen noodles for 3 minutes and had my fix...uh..lunch. Now I do that at least once a week. Also have tried other noodles and rice. Of course now I like Marmite on toast and bagels. So good. Thank you so much for my absolute favorite new snack in ages. I can only get the tiniest jars of Marmite here so I get a couple every time I go to the store that carries it. You won't be mad if you sprinkle on some garlic powder before grating the parm. Thank you again! 👍❤😋

I’m ready to try this recipe and the fried rice one. My daughter came from the store last Saturday with a jar of Marmite, I asked well what is it , she’s like “I don’t know, people put it on toast. “ So she proceeded to have a taste, she didn’t like it and said it was very salty. "Dinner for one, when I don't want to cook, curl up with a show, and probably eat in bed." MY KIND OF LADY. But seriously, I'm SO excited to give this a try soon. I've known about marmite and vegemite for a while but just tried it for the very first time yesterday and I enjoyed it as I expected I would. I've always been into rich umami type flavors like soy sauce, mushrooms, etc, so I felt like this would be right up my alley. I made it the classic way on buttered toast in a very thin layer to get the most basic proper experience with it. To me it smells like a mix of soy sauce and molasses. Really curious if you have ever tried nutritional yeast before?, it's another yeast byproduct and is this salty, sort of nutty cheesy powder, I LOVE it on popcorn especially. Thank you again for this awesome idea and look forward to trying it! Also, I have a feeling that a teeny sprinkle of nutmeg at the end would really add a pop to this pasta. 😉

I'll give this a try, thanks. Have to admit I really like your neutral expressions. 1:17 I've switched a few people. One of the best ways to serve it is on cold toast. Use your normal fat spread and after place just a small blob, 1/4 of a teaspoon on top. I've also got a few jars, was supposed to be for a friend from the states but due to the current situation. PS: it goes great with potatoes and fried onions. Try it with mash, if you use instant mash mix in the hot water first to lower it's viscosity.

LOVE marmite AND your cooking channel, but usually use it as seasoning rather than putting on toast, etc. I've been between a vegan and vegetarian for almost 50 years and probably feel better and healthier than most of my friends. When I married, my husband was already a vegetarian and told me I could eat meat but he wouldn't as he felt better without it. I had always dealt with menstrual problems and anemia so thought I shouldn't give up meat, but once I did, I never had further problems with anemia, etc. I think the key is not just to avoid meat, etc, but to understand what your body needs and get that from whatever sources you're willing to eat.

Hi from England. Must try Marmite Spaghetti, it looks great! My favorite way of eating Marmite is to VERY lightly butter two pieces of hot toasted sliced white bread, then THINLY, and I mean THINLY spread Marmite on both slices, then put a cheese slice (like you put on a burger) in-between the two to make a sandwich. HEAVEN MAN! No offense meant, but a lot of videos of Americans eating Marmite tend to show them spreading Marmite onto toast FAR, FAR too THICKLY...then they say they hate Marmite. Thinly dude, THINLY! :) Thanks for the vid.
