For INFJ there is no body. They are created to be alone doesn't matter how much they invest. So INFJ's should learn to be alone and be ok. Company never means you are not alone. You can be really alone in a crowd too. No INFJ can not engage in sex if they are not in love. Sex is adjacent to love.

INFJ is definitely a type that can be alone, but not lonely. We love sex though and lots of it and on top of that, Se is the key to being fully developed as an INFJ so it’s actually needed, don’t delude yourself.

@@TheGuyWhoCantPickAName being married also doesn't mean you are not alone or with a wrong partner. For INFJs life without your true partner the one you love is a path to loneliness. We enjoy our solitude but need a compatible partner as once we love its so hard to move on and it takes us years and more. Yes we need a lot of sex but not from anyone but from the one that we love deeply and emotionally, mentally and physically connect. Its all or nothing. Otherwise we are capable of being patient in life and live without our ture love with our resilient nature.

Thank you for sharing Chase. It explains it perfectly. And it really sucks for us when the person who we choose to invest in and be chaste with doesn't want to spend time with us because we are too much. Hurts like hell getting rejected like that. As an ESTP I've been focusing on just conserving my energy and finding things I like to do outside of other people, just because of how many persons have rejected me and my energy/investment into them in the past. Not sure how my future relationships will unfold but I am not trying to let the past make me jaded. So just building myself in the meantime.

This is so interesting and eye opening. The thing is, is that I’m an INFJ and my boyfriend is a ESTP. We’ve been together for almost 2 years now and have known each other for almost 5.

It is indeed very hard, to find that right person. But should I finally find the one, they can be sure of getting 100% faithfulness. Super-monogamy, it's so important to me. It's literally what I need in a partner. Once I find that one person, I don't see why I would want to hurt them in the worst way possible. The hard thing, is finding the correct person. Especially when keeping that chastity, as a gift to the very person I'm looking for. In an era where others' interest usually goes there first. It's just not my thing to throw myself to others, resulting in losing my self-respect. The only 2 times I ever felt love, it was not reciprocated. Where I can only respect their choice and move on.

INTJ here. Thanks for this insight, it really helps. The INFJs in my life ARE exhausting to me, though I love and appreciate them. I’m not willing/able to deliver what they seem to need emotionally over the long term, and I often disappoint them. It’s a learning experience… ❤

Ya, as an INFJ male, I fell in love with the lady in a green shirt that walked by your camera. Then I saw the lady in a blue jacket and my heart was smitten. Then, the mother who was on skates went by and she caught my eye, but she was too fast for me. Then she came by again, and my heart stopped, till the police car parked. Surely - that's a sign she's just trouble! But then, the lady in a black shirt smiled at me, even though, she was with a guy! It's really just a part of the extraverted feeling mechanism. We are kind of drawn to pay attention to other people, but only to observe them, not talk to them!

I agree the promiscuity is a defense mechanism. Sometimes that can also come up when they sense the other partner is not fully loyal and invested in them too, might aswell branch out so when they're betrayed or left it will hurt the ego less. I also agree that sex can be meaningless, sort of disappointing to these types if they are not inlove.

as an ESTP, I can honestly say that sex is not enough to keep me around. For me, I guess sex is my for sure way of knowing whether or not I have a genuine connection with someone and the relationship is worth continuing. Maybe that’s where Ni comes into play… we can’t explain it, we just know… or maybe that’s just me… 😅

I cannot mentally check out while having sex. In fact, I can’t even get off without the connection. I tried sleeping with random people for a brief period after losing the love of my life, but it made me feel gross and used and like I was user others. So I’m completely celibate and have been for a several years now. But you are right about not being able to connect easily with others, and I don’t fall in love with many but when I do it’s a die hard loyal kind of love where I’ll literally die for you to prove it.

Most of my friends are INFJ’s, and can tell you that they are all quite gullible, but yet don’t fall I love easily having such intelligent ans complex mines. The ENFJ has a much higher body count than the INFJ.

I really think you can find that special girl, but only with the intellectual, or intelligent type. Many guys make the huge mistake of picking women that are dumber than they are, but not the INFJ. You need to find yourself an INTP, as we are fiercely loyal, intellectual and sapiosexual, and look beyond sex. Two of my INFJ best friends are marrie ms to INTP’s and they are very happy with their partners.

At first when I watched this I was like nah..I don't just love people who give me attention and then I reconsidered a bit. I am an INFJ but a mature INFJ and also Autistic so maybe that gives it a different flavor. I do want a lot of attention but only a specific kind and that is what keeps me mostly uninterested in many people. I have never been interested in having surface level connections and if the attention is inauthentic it is more of a turn off than anything. But I do crave attention from my partner. Way more than probably anyone can give me and Chase is right that I do worry I will wear him out but he seems immune to it and or holds strong boundaries for his need to recharge which I think is actually healthy for him and me. I think an INFJ that feels very special to another person would be the most loyal partner ever..like storybook level commitment. I desire to do a million lives over with the person I am committed to. That's why we have a hard time commiting because once we are truly connected to another and vulnerable we know we can be utterly destroyed. It's scary but if you get it so worth it.

I don't know Chase. You may be UD UF but all I see in videos u've posting these weeks/months is SF. You are being compassionate, you very often say it sucks to be × person and × people have it hard and are trying your best to fix misconceptions about types and their octograms and give them the justice they would deserve(often in a positive connotation, saying they deserve better treatment or understanding than they've been getting up until now). Envy and malevolence isn't as present in these videos as it used to have been as far as I am concerned.
