I certainly hope that you just didn’t use your words as specifically as you should have, because sometimes people do not CHOOSE to raise their child (or children) alone. In fact, there IS and CAN BE honor in hanging in there and being/doing the best they can. ANYWAY…I am glad you heard this song. Her father, Atz Sr, is very musical himself and their whole extended family had a show on the Discovery channel called Alaska: The Last Frontier…the family name is Kilcher. Wonderful show and insanely representative of how hard, but rewarding carving a life out of the wilderness can be. Keep up the good work you two!

Jewel. She was one of the children from the tv series “the last frontier”. Her mother go to Alaska to marry her father, in the winter they live in America and in the summer tin Alaska in a wooden cabin, this was caught on camera by National Geographic or Discovery [i’m not sure which].

I think they were referring to people who CHOOSE to be a single parent from the beginning. Definitely they don't support abortion if you have an unplanned pregnancy. But there are those who live recklessly constantly and even those who choose to be a parent knowing they'll never be in any relationship.

If my husband was to die. I would not want to remarry. I would raise our children as there mom and tell them about there dad. Can you honestly say if either one of you to pass away you would find another man or woman to be a second parent?

Nice song....but one that can only be written by a female. "I am the accumulation of the dreams of generations" only applies to daughters. The boy version would go something like "I'm told I'm the disappointment while the girls all get annointment...My dreams all fester in the sun...I am my father's son"
