Met her in Oxford on Saturday and what a down to earth lovely person is. She chatted like we'd known her for ages. Much respect!

I love it. What did Sarah say about Siouxsie? Is she a fan?

She’s so amazing and British. I loved her and the band’s music from the beginning (30 years ago?! Oh my god). I saw her in California during one of their lightening quick stateside tours. Very happy to have enhanced my life and musical taste by St. Etienne.

I can't believe the amount of idiots who are commenting on how "old" Sarah Cracknell looks. I hope I look as good as her at 52.

What a lovely interview I have just stumbled across on this mid December evening. Saint Etienne are one of my favourite bands and with Sarah who is just one of the nicest and down to earth female lead singers out there.

I can't believe how fast time has flown. She was like a high school crush for me and i am gay as bag of butterflies. One of my favourite bands of all time.

I was introduced to St Et in about 1995 by a girl I was trying to date, which didnt happen but hey ho, and it was a revelation! I was so overcome with their unique style and sound that I went straight out and bought all their cd's. I still play them often. Then there is Sarah, wont say I love her as I I have never even met her but phwoar, she was and is delightful.

She is peerless. There is absolutely no one like her. Longevity, consistent ascension of musical prowess, class, humility and fun without ever sounding preachy or arrogant. This is the only band in music history as far as I'm concerned, can truly be anything you wish them to be. They are stars above us and stars below us. Thank you Phil Marriott for this post.

Does the ''editing'' really matter? It's just a bloody interview on YT not the latest Scorcese film.
