Sounds soooo good! Funny thing the plexi... For me it's one of those amps that when i hear them, like this, it sounds amazing to me. But when i play on one i always feel the gain is much thinner, and I find myself wanting more. I end up boosting it looking for a little more saturation, and then it doesn't sound like the same plexi tones that make me love a plexi.

Sounds fantastic. That IS the sound. I know it isn’t as ‘saturated’ as some might prefer, but do you find that there is ample sustain regardless? My experience with the SV20 is that there is just a great sustain that almost seems to make up for the lack of distortion, if that makes sense. The notes just ring and are so present.

I really wonder. How did you get so much gain and distorion from Plexi head? In real life it's almost clean. Do you have some mods (like cascading gain stages) or do you use some power attenuator crankin power amp to distortion?

On yours when you lower the Treble knob past 12 o’clock does it seem to get a bassy volume boost? It’s strange I figured the treble knob when backed off would just cut the treble but I come from a Mesa Boogie background so I just really don’t know if it’s just a quick of a Plexi as it sits it seems the Treble knob is crazy power on this beast haha.
