Thanks for the great tutorial! Did I miss where you are going to help with lint? I have such a problem with this!!!! Thanks!!!

I forgot to add it in at the end while filming. I did discuss lint on another tutorial, but my biggest tips for working with white are. Wiping my hands with baby wipes before hand, let my hands air dry. Using some white scrap clay to remove any dust/ lint that were left behind on my hands, and making sure I don't touch anything else while working with white. The other thing i do is use white printer paper as my work surface. I use multiple layers, if i have to leave the white clay for any reason, I pick up the top layer, place my clay on the nice new paper, and place the one I removed on top so lint doesn't settle on it. :) Thank you so much for watching and asking:) I will make a video just about lint Heather

Paper air dry clay makes perfect marshmallows as well. But I prefer oven blacked clay so this video helps :)

Thank you, I haven't worked with that kind of clay before. Thanks for the tip. Heather

You're welcome. I prefer oven baked clay but I have to admit, paper based clay works good for pastries and marshmallows. Once it dries it leave a dry chalky finish. You should try it. I got frustrated with the constant water i would have to add because it would dry up so quickly. You have to make youritems fast.

I've watched several of your tutorials, and I just love them! I have one question: How and when do you add the eye pin to your charms? Thank you for showing us your wonderful work! :)

You can stick a head pin in right before cooking. I like to make the hole after curing with a safety pin. It works well with premo. Here is a video showing me doing it. Turning My Food Into Jewelry

What of you gently roll it on sandpaper?
@heathernwells10 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry about missing your comment. I am rolling it on flour. I texture them by roliing them in flour, or corntstarch. Both work. Heather
