I would counter the vids claim that the T rex has a curb weight of 12,000 Lb, I'm thinking more like 12,000 is the max weight with payload. Subtracting the listed apparent payload of 5,000 leaves a believable 7,000 Lb vehicle.

Most likely, the Hornet had a built-in first aid kit due to the fact that first aid kits are mandatory for all vehicles sold in Europe, and if Dodge was projecting that to be their target market, they would have to have that anyway. Great video as always!!

If I recall correctly, the Dodge EV was called the Dodge Circuit! It was a nicely fitting name for driving home the point of an electric sports car (Circuit for track and also for the electrical system, Circuit Breaker for a car setting track records and also for the switch)! That car would've been quite a hoot! And comparisons with the Tesla Roadster would certainly get our attention due to the cars' shared Lotus genes! edit: I'd like to see the small golden roadster concept, the Demon, also from 2006 (same wheels as the Hornet, too)! It was one of my dreams when I was 13, back in the day! It's a shame it never made it to production!

Especially now that fiat has the tipo, which is basically a renegade car, FCA should have made a little Chrysler 100 and the Dodge Hornet from the sedan and hatch, and given the dart the v6 to succeed the avenger better. I love my renny because of the hornet and believe that the market push to crossovers sent the small car over to jeep. Hoping a SRT Renny will come someday.

And I don't think it had the platform for a V-6 to be shoved into it because the 200 was basically a rather modified version of the dart platform Which might explain how we had AWD and a V-6 option

The 200 Cherokee and dart share everything but some interior parts and the exterior metal like the 500x and renny. The platform and drivetrain are all the same which is why both were discontinued in favour to bring the plants to full Cherokee capacity. Same engine bay, same small pentastar v6 and 2.4 I4, same AWD system.

I'm diggin' the Aviat! I believe for '94 the design is ahead of it's time. Call me crazy but the rear shot at 1:19, I can see a prehistoric almost Neanderthal version of a Pagani Zonda. The side mirrors and bubble-dome cockpit make me think Zonda. The designers were dreaming on another level for '94.

Like the overall concept of the Hornet, and it may indeed have been better than my Dart. But it is heavy, and the interior makes me think about the first generation Caliber, specifically rock hard plastic. That and one has to wonder about how those seats would work on long trips. But that said, if they could produce one today, I'd certainly take a close look.

The t-rex used to go on tours. They brought it to the Sturgis drag strip and parked it on a big pile of dirt they dug up to show it off. I was 14, the guy driving it said it was a gutless pig lol.

I like the Dodge Hornet, it should have been put into production, it would have sold far better the the Dodge Dart. Another one I liked is the Dodge EV, but only if Dodge would have put in a L4 turbo 2.4 or a high output V6 3.6 into it. If I remember correctly at the time the Lotus Europa had a high output Toyota V6 3.5 engine so the 3.6L would fit nicely. Also about the time of the Dodge EV Lotus was making body for Tesla and it was based on the Elise, but also around the same time Lotus was building another Elise variant called the Vauxhall VX220 and Vauxhall was owned by GM, so a deal with Chrysler to build the EV would most likely not happen since Lotus was in bed with GM, eventhough GM sold Lotus to the Malaysian Proton owners
