If I see the "bro fell off" joke I swear I'll end myself. Also I love that kind of analysis, I haven't watched the video yet but I'm sure it's gonna be a banger, the Marss banter mode+ top player mode kind of mix in those and I think that's awesome

Such a good set. Riddles kinda lost his edge at one point in set 2, can't figure out why. Stuff happens I guess.

It's so crazy how much of a bot Riddles looks on the last couple of stocks where his entire gameplay looks like all he did was mash electrics, fair's out of histun, spotdodge and air dodges

Wait can someone explain how the tourney works? Riddles won set 1 and kola 2 but why does cola get the immediate win?
@Heiniu-dl9pl2 күн бұрын
if you're still interested, it's because smash tourneys are double elimination tourneys, and kola had not lost a set before grands, which is called being in winnerside grands, whilst riddles did lose a set before, so riddles had to win two times and kola once

It feels so frustrating to watch these types of matches because it feels like Kola is so thoroughly outmaneuvering and outplaying Riddles, but he’s still losing stocks and games to raw cheese. Like no amount of mixups on landing or consistently out mixing your opponent will stop you from just dying to rage drive or a random EWGF. Big ups to Kola for taking the set and the tourney though.
@blazeiken24 ай бұрын
idk man it takes an immense amount of skill / timing to land those in top level play imo, since everyone knows EWGF it's not as easy as it looks. Sure, you land, u get free 40-80% dmg / possible 0-to-death, but getting to that point can be tricky, especially if the opponent like kola can mix / bait out. Ppl will say Kazuya is overtuned but yet only 1-2 ppl can play him at an efficient top level play and get results.
@Beardog218144 ай бұрын
Bro has never died at 60% to Roy side b. Raw cheese. You can argue Kazuya worse for sure but if no dlc, you would be saying Roy is top 5 brainless cheesy characters that just mash, no matter how hard you outmaneuver.
@thebygoneking4 ай бұрын
@@Beardog21814 Never said Roy wasn’t cheesy as well, but I definitely think there’s a big difference between Roy cheese and Kazuya cheese. What’s notable in this match is that Kola is consistently outplaying Riddles, Riddles is doing objectively dumb defensive options, and yet Riddles still had a real chance at winning this set because of cheese like EWGF and Rage Drive.
@blazeiken24 ай бұрын
@@thebygoneking as in, kola is getting hit for free? You have to hit EWGF / Rage Drive to get cheesed boss, and even then, you can still get out of it.
