Hello, Dear Miss Martha, Thank you for another great video! You look good in that beige light weight sweater. It's blowsy, and hangs just right, making you look even thinner than you already are! The modest earrings, and comfortable hair style, add to the casual dress look. Very chic, and tastefully classy. And this time it's at night, that you're cooking, not for breakfast time, like the last two mornings. In one of your subscriber's comments, they had remarked how good and simple your recipes are, easy to follow, and I agree totally!! I wish that I had watched your show when I was younger. I've always loved and admired you, Martha, and I bragged about you to several people in the last year or so, that have their own channels too. (Not cooking shows). Anyway, thanks for teaching us how to make Latkes!! I never knew it was basicly that simple. Your daughter was blessed to have you as a mother, Martha, because she could learn all these cooking lessons directly from you, at home. I LOVE how you are humble at heart, combined with talent, skill, and class! Do enjoy your evening, and when you walk around on your beautiful property, say a prayer for all of us. Thanks again. Bye. 💐

Hi Martha, So Good to see you. Wanted to share with you my Grand-mothers secret - freshly grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano Cheese. She swore by it. She added it to Latke's, meatballs, meatloaf, tomatoes sauce, breadcrumbs. Her secret to getting us kids to eat veggies was to mash any cooked veg in with some of the breadcrumbs, which contained garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, little oregano, and Locatelli. Anyway thanks for letting me share. Great to see you!

chesh kat BEER is never used in REAL LATKES. Use the same recipe minus the beer (and use POTATO STARCH, NOT FLOUR) and fry them for CHANUKAH, NOT PASSOVER. MARTHA IS NOT JEWISH and her recipe is not an authentic Jewish recipe. MARTHA MADE POTATO PANCAKES, SHE DIDN'T MAKE LATKES.
@cheshkat63214 жыл бұрын
@@joygordon4735 Thanks for the info. I am not Jewish, so being authentic is not a requirement for me. I just want food to be delicious. However, it is always a good thing to learn new recipes, including those with tradition. Once introduced, I enjoy searching the internet/KZbin for similar recipes. I eat of many cultures and flavors.

Idaho potatoes. Thanks for being so specific. I have been watching a few videos of people from Poland. What I have observed is. It’s seem to me I hardly see many people overweight. I don’t know if it is the food they eat or do they make overweight people stay out of sight?😂 I think it’s the latter. They seem like such wonderful caring people. Maintaining there traditions of religion, music, and dance. So nice.👍🏻😊

I just made your 6 layer salted caramel chocolate cake. I’m waiting for my husband to come home from Minnesota to dig into it, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t taste-tested all of the components! I never made caramel before, but this one was well worth almost setting my kitchen on fire! Literally, though. The high heat on my electric burner caught fallen crumbs on fire. Luckily, I had plenty of salt to throw on it! Lol. Good reminder to clean the drip pans more often.

Other than the fact that one cannot use beer or flour on Passover (for which Martha has intended this recipe be used), it looks great. I would substute some baking powder and some water for the beer, and matzoh meal or potato starch for the flour. However, her recipe would be good as is any other time of year.
