Although, I in fact actually somehow feel it demeaning to him and his craft - what he produces in total, both by hand on the ground as well as cinematographically “content” - as it sort of lumps him in with so many KZbinrs who actually do NOT even produce “content” but are merely acting as some sort of online, desperate prostitutes, and thus only represent the way over-commercialized, likes-begging online and “social” media hordes of our age. What a pleasure it has been to follow your journey martjin, I started following you late 2021ish, I had a serious accident that very nearly killed me and I had to relearn to walk, and I'm now on my feet again (95% with a lot of fighting and hard days but i'll never be 100% but i'll take the 95%), you have inspired me to live more and go after what I want. Martijne - your channel is similar to medItation. It's a study in patience, calmness, serenity and artistic integrity. I am an American that lives in a tiny village on the Mediterranean Sea with my Dutch wife on the southcoast of Turkiye. We had the shell of a small village-style house built for us - walls, roof on a 1100 sq meter plot. We ourselves have added covered porches, stone paths and an extensive garden. We laid the floors, built wooden cabinetry in the indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen and shower and several small storage buildings as we're a bit too old to have done it all. The silence here is almost profound and the lack of humming background noise soothes the soul. After watching your cycling content were thrilled at this home content. It is definitely like s meditation and a very enjoyable channel you have created.

I found it difficult to rewatch the stonework and scaffolding after only just reaching the point where you're able to live snugly in that cabin. This channel blows my mind. I mean, just doing all the work to renovate these cabins in a country where you are not native and don't speak the language is incredible. But then to film (with all the camera angles, and drone footage), edit, and document everything, well, it's nothing less than awe-inspiring. Length of day and the ability to sun bask impact on their health and egg laying. They can forage in and around the forest if you get them out of their run during the afternoon.

Thank you for this review of year two. Have watched all your videos & am inspired. My right leg 4" shorter than left, so spend lots of time in bed...watching your Vlogs & waiting for 2024...drinking a bottle of Cava and eating a feast cooked by my wonderful son.
