Back in the 90s there were cool late night folk radio stations. Heard this song on one of those programs...I think it was this actual live performance.

Swarbs had the instinctive feel for a song and knew which parts he had to hit exactly right to maintain the feel and essence of the track but also where he had more freedom to improvise. And he had the skill and natural talent to exploit this to it's potential. Hence loose/tight
