I'm in Michigan and I love Pastor Wolfmueller. He's the first Lutheran pastor I really feel a connection with. I may have to move to Texas! haha. Thank-you Pastor Wolfmueller . I left the Lutheran church years ago, now because of your channel, I'm back and have a place to go.

Pastor, You have spoken about your initial difficulties in understanding the Psalms as they are written as prose. I too have that same problem. You have given us tools to help us disect and better understand them. With those tools and with just reading the Psalms along with reading the rest of my bible, things become clear-er to me. I am beginning to make connections. What you and Luther say here about the Psalms being a Little-bible, well that really clicked. I can see it.

I have been reading Walther’s Law and Gospel for 30 years! You explain doctrine and the beauty of Christianity as well as any pastor I’ve ever listened too! How refreshing to be freed from the Reformed domination of KZbin and the media!

I always say in jest that I wasn’t smart enough to be Reformed. It can get exhausting. So nice to have a simple faith that rests on Jesus and at the same time can be just as robust theologically as Reformed it just isn’t in your face though.

This is a beautiful introduction and your concluding remarks indicate how deeply you have delved into the Psalter yourself. God be praised for this clear word.

Thank you for your blessing at the end. It is shameful to think that we don’t value the Psalms as we should. Thank you for this spur on to dig deeper into this mine of pure gold.

If you are anything like me, you are plagued with self-doubt. Do not doubt this, that this was a help to a fellow-pilgrim.

Yes, that is one of the great ideas expressed here, so comforting to know that we are not the first to struggle with our faith, Praise God.

Psalms remain my Everest but read/listen to them frequently in hopes Holy Spirit brings their understanding to me...I hope to read, pray, and sing praise to my LORD from the original Hymnal. Amen.

A man once said to Luther, “I hear you are quite a cook! Tell me then, of all the lands of the earth which seasoning is most rich with flavor and fragrance?” Luther replied, “Psalter.”
