But sheesh this one was deep and very emotional because you’ve just heard so many stories of cancer taking a loved one or just someone going through it is insanely tough and to have that support system is just everything! So the fact that they all had loved ones by there sides who helped them get through man that is just so beautiful and amazing because I understand there are those who don’t have that support system and I can imagine that would be unbearable to go through this alone! I love this song. Was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer at age 30 - found out in my ultrasound- Thankfully I've been in complete remission since 2014. One of the things that draws me to these channels is seeing the raw emotion from people who have never heard the songs. It makes you human. No apologies needed

I had to see you react to this. If you don't cry, you're not human. On the Ellen Show a little girl was singing this to her Mama and Martina came on stage and surprised them. You should watch it. Honey never be afraid to show your true emotions. Being able to show your emotions shows how strong you really are. You are the kind of young man a Mother wants for her daughters. I wish mine weren't too old for you.

My dad had liver cancer off and on for 4 years every time they would remove the spot it came back this August he got a new liver. We all loved him through it I remember at one point he got so bad that the whole family from up north flew down to see him cause we didnt think he would make it this year on my husband's birthday we got the call that they found him a liver. It was the hardest thing I ever had to watch my dad go through but so thankful he never gave up and beat cancer

I cried through this entire song ... my oldest daughter diagnosed 2016 ... 4 years later still battling .. rare type (.006% of women develop it) so she is in clinical trials ... it's up .. it's down .. it's tears .. its laughter.. it's praying ....last round of chemo 4 weeks ago (specifically made based on her cancer cells) it's negation with God .. she has a 10 year old daughter who loves her. .

My mom is a 3 time breast cancer survivor. My dad was by her side every time...then COVID tried to take them both. They were next door neighbors in ICU. They got out 12/2 and are holding strong. They loved each other through it. Love the song and your reaction.

I haven’t lost anyone to breast cancer, but I lost my dad to a rare form of cancer when he was only 59. We did the hospice thing, and all we could do is be there for him. Cancer sucks, it’s not fair. 😢

You seem to have such a sweet heart! Don't everbe embarrassed fit having empathy and compassion! Imagine if everyone could be that way. What a kinder world we would be living in! I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma at 37 years old. I had 5 kids and was a single mom (husband had left a few years before.) If it hadn't been for my 3 aunts, I don't know what we would have done! I was diagnosed again a year later and had to have part of a lung removed (2 weeks in the hospital) and a stem cell transplant (5 weeks in the hospital). I could never pay my aunts back for all of their support and love! Great reactions! Keep being you!

My wife got diagnosed at 31 just after Obamacare passed and the way it was written the doctor wouldn’t even check till she was 50. She got checked and she had two different types of breast cancer she had a double mastectomy

Don't feel bad, darling. This song makes me cry every time I hear it. All anyone wants to hear is that you're there for them. I lost my dad to cancer back in 2017 less than 3 weeks after I turned 21 it started out as throat cancer and spread to other areas of his body he was giving 6 months to live and only made it 2 more weeks before passing. #RIPDAD I love you!

This song always has me in tears I lost my grandma to ovarian cancer hen lost my mom to lung, bone and brain cancer and lost my dad to bone cancer I took care of my parents and I tried to love them through it but when the line where her husband took her in his arms and said that’s what my love is for breaks me every time. In 2002 when I was pregnant with my son, my Dr saw on the ultra sound a tumor on my ovary. After giving birth to him, I went into surgery to have it removed, and she said it was all removed, but it was malignant and to make sure no other cancer is floating around in my uterus or other ovary, she wanted me to do a total hysterectomy. Apparently I had to have 2 blood transfusions during surgery, and had an infection that spiked my fever to 105. But I am all clear since. No cancer. And I already had 3 kids. So I am good.

I played this for my mom last year. She has stage 4 lung cancer and she is terminal. Its been the hardest damn thing I've ever done. Is watching her fade a little more each day. She is fighting with all she has though.

There is no need to hide from your allergies. I'd think less of you if you DIDN'T get emotional during this song. I know you are young, but the best thing you can do for yourself is allow yourself to feel and let it show. Aislynn1921 is right, real men DO cry and chicks dig it when guys show emotion. Martina is amazing and her catalogue is so big with so many different kinds of songs, but I think songs like this are her best songs. I'd love to see more Martina reactions. I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary being cancer survivor, I lost my left breast and went through it all by myself, I didn't have any family 💔 I didn't feel like a woman anymore and I was 50, I didn't go to support groups, I'm stubborn and I'd just say God's the only person I need, he let me live,yeah I only have one breast and I didn't go anywhere except church because I would be embarrassed, but God sent my soul mate to me 8yrs ago,I live a wonderful and happy life, I'm Thankful everyday that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ not saved me but sent me the Man that love's me the way I am 💞🙏

ovarian cancer survivor here. And trust me, the emotional support of the people around you is truly the best medecine. I would not have made it through my surgery if I didn't have my brother, my sister and my nephew. I wouldn't have been able to go on even after surviving without the strenght of my family. Their hugs, their support, even just my 9 year old nephew walking 6 blocks every single day to come and feed my cats, take out my trash, bring me soup his mother made me. He would lie down next to me in bed and watch TV, hug me and just tell me he was glad I kicked cancer's butt. Well, actually , his actual words were "I'm so glad you fuck*ng kicked cancer's sorry a$s... but don'T tell mom I said the F and the a word"

Step grandpa has skin cancer his supposed to go in and get surgery to get rid of it I'm just scared because everyone I love that goes in the hospital never comes out unless they are having a baby then they always come home but I lost a lot of people to cancer and alcoholism and drugs and abuse I never met my real grandpa on my dad's side because he died when my dad was 15yrs old my dad's mom started dating like a step Grandpa when he was 16 my dad is now 53 so my grandma and my step Grandpa been together for a long time he's the only grandpa I really know for my dad's side and I'm just scared knowing that he can go in any moment and I barely just started to get to know him
