Great video, as always, Martin. Being middle aged and still thinking I can swing like my 22-year-old self, I run into injuries on occasion. I was hoping you can make a video about how you nurse injuries (wrist, finger, hips, or back) and best practices for quicker healing. I figure in your profession you come across many injuries.

In south Alabama you hit low and and high spin the wind is almost always left to right hitting to north .❤

We have soft turf on the fairways, so, I am trying to maximize the carry most of the time. Lately it’s been windy as well and therefore I find it necessary to addjust the launch and spinrate for either down or head wind. For irons these basics works as well, but if you cannot manipulate the launch and spin the results wount serve a purpose. My understanding for need for more spin on the down wind comes from aerodynamics studies. If the launch is not different, high and spinny in the tail wind, the ball reackts the same, same club will not get the ball faster off the face, and initial velocity is a key feature, cause the airspeed of that ball is less than normal or into the wind. The slower airspeed the less lift a fixed spinrate produces. When you get a gust of tail wind the ball stalls on the up trajectory and drops off the sky too early and also the decent angle brcomes shallower. Balls wount stop as quickly as in norm, not to mention head wind shots.

Martin Have you heard of VKTRY carbon fiber insoles? They increase the bounce back from the ground forces you create. They increase your vertical jump by an inch just by wearing them. FYI also if you do 1 set of 6rep max squats and wait for about 5 minutes, that will increase your vertical jump 2 inches, but only for 2 jumps....Love your channel and how great you are with people.

I have a srixon driver that goes down to 7.5 degrees but I still spin it a ton, should I just ditch it and get a lower lofted driver? Or is it me?

Great video! For driver my goal is for a straight ball flight medium height! Tee-down for windy conditions and setup the big high fade for #7 at Pinecrest in Annandale, VA. Playing Callaway Rogue X irons.....they get the ball up high and penetrate. But, I am playing golf to get some exercise by walking 9, having fun, and being social. Love the latest videos and shorts.....LOL!!! Have a great weekend!

Martin - I’d say this … if you tee the ball down more I think u might blast 💥 it to the moon. That swing trajectory is where the whip cracks the hardest with the smoothest tempo (e.g. Bobby Jones)…

Yeah... too low spin with a strong tailwind, can cause the ball to get knocked down... sonit won't get the benefit of being carried by the wind.
