Sorry to bother Matin, Do you think you will be making those adapters? if so how does the time table look like?
@randygalbiati19435 жыл бұрын
Why not use 1 of the two u have blocked off right next to it
@martinbuilt5 жыл бұрын
The ones I had blocked off brownie blocked off while doing the mock-up.. one of the ones that were blocked off we're for the power brake booster and the other for the vacuum accessories like cruise control. And then the one that I drilled was for the purge valve charcoal canister missions.

I might have missed this, but that adapter plate, did you make that yourself?
@martinbuilt6 жыл бұрын
Yes I made both the throttle/cruise cable bracket and the throttle boby adapter
@MDM12046 жыл бұрын
@@martinbuilt I really appreciate your response! I'm a big fan of your mods and plan on doing some to my WJ very soon. I do have another question, would you by chance make another throttle/cruise bracket, TB adapter, and the TPS sensor adapter from your part 2 video and sell/ship them to me?
@martinbuilt6 жыл бұрын
@@MDM1204 thank you I appreciate the kind words. I'm not exactly tooled to mass produce. I would love to put out a kit to do this conversion. Right now if I had to build one at a time I'm afraid it would bel expensive and you may not think it's worth it. Possibly in the future if there was more people that are interested in doing this I can have a machine shop help me out with this. I do have a friend that is pretty well set up I'll have to talk to him and see if it's something he would be interested in helping me build
@MDM12046 жыл бұрын
I completely understand! Yes that would be interesting to see if your friend is willing to help out! One last thing before I go, you should check out this fuel rail modification for the 4.7, some great gains I've read and is something I've been wanting to work on my WJ. www.nagca.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47964#/topics/47964?page=1

what did the throttle body come off?
@martinbuilt6 жыл бұрын
Chris Verkaik that's a good question. I found it sitting on the tailgate of a Chevrolet truck. I know it didn't come out of the truck that I found it on cuz it was a much older model. I have been looking for the exact same one on eBay and cannot find one just like it. If you noticed mine has absolutely no vacuum lines on it where most of the LS throttle bodies do have at least one.

Chris Verkaik after quite a bit of research I think I found it it came a Chevrolet 7.4 L (454) 96-99

How can I do this to my 08 ram 3.7l
@martinbuilt5 жыл бұрын
This would be to large for 3.7

Thank you anything you recommend
@martinbuilt5 жыл бұрын
@@TheJuangonzalez34 I would see if there is a aftermarket throttle body available for the three 3.7 Or you could always do a port and polish on your existing throttle body.

Martin curious what year your jeep is? I went to do this and missed that my IAC is the 1 bolt. Your right it won't work. Lol

@@travisstirek5393 mine is a 04. I believe the 04's had both 2 bolt and single bolt IAC. I would have to take a close look at a single bolt IAC but I might be able to make a adapter to work.

Bad thing is the single bolt is alot bigger round

Heyarting do you want to sell me the adapter plate you made for the dodge 4.7 . Not the ls one Cable throttle to the 08 manifold
@Tech-ez1qj3 жыл бұрын
But why? If you never had the cylinder heads worked to improve air flow. A larger throttle body isn't going to increase horsepower.
@martinbuilt3 жыл бұрын
Is that right but yet it improved it quite a bit. Now that I have improved the Intake, TB, intake manifold, tri-Y headers, and 3" exhaust, the heads are the only thing holding back even more HP's and that is yet to come.

Can I help you with that problem their brother, you need to add a resistor to the signal wire that way you get the same impedance Azure Chrysler throttle position sensor. I build stuff like this before so good idea to take some advice
