I actually own one of those 3-sectional comverta staffs, and while it does work well as both weapons for training, it’s so loud and annoying in regular staff form, that all your neighbors will hear you practicing with it if you’re outside in your backyard, and it’s not a pleasant sound… But using it as *just* a 3-sectional staff is fine.

I like the sword it looks like it has a good thrusting edge. I would personally use it more like a long dagger than a sword. It looks easy to use and very effective. I would not go against a rapier with it but its relatively short length would be more effective in tighter spaces. used as a dagger it probably be even better than my qama because of even longer blade although one would still need to learn how to use it as a sword which I don't have any experience with but it is definitely something ineresting.

You’re right…the scabbard has so many adornments on it, that it does make the sword fairly heavy, plus it has a much thicker and stronger steel than most Chinese swords you come across. I have tested it out and it held up very nicely. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
