Marty is my very FAVORITE of the Haggard brothers. He seems so genuine and humble. He expresses his love for “his dad” in such a touching manner. He has a “ real “. Haggard singing voice ! ❤🙏🏼

Love it...I was 10 when I heard that ride cymbal and that voice flowing in the air in the car packed parking lot at a park outside of Anderson Indiana...I've been hooked ever since

I bought Marty a drink one day when he played in my home town in Il and invited him over to my house and he came, and we had a great time talking about country music.35 years later i seen him at my local home town of Crossville Tn. theater and we again had a good talk. Wow thanks for sharing your story. Marty came over to do a gig in the UK. He did his dad Merle proud, Marty did a fantastic show that night, this was one of the clips I took while he was on stage. Merle Haggard was always my favourite country singer. Merle and his band the strangers came to Liverpool UK many many years ago, were I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live on stage. All the very best from Dave in the UK. Keeping it country!!!
