I agree with you. This 'is' great - it's more western than country style which has been ruined and more like rock and roll now a day - Stuart and his Superlatives are under rated- they rule and are great musicians, all. His music reminds me of the genre of Lee Hazlewood - listen to Summer Wine - etc. w/ Nancy Sinatra.

What a shame we don’t get the pleasure of hearing this on “country” radio. I hate today’s country music. I love the old traditional country music from the 50s/60s and then the late 80s traditional music filled our radios with the introduction of Mark Chesnut, Joe Diffie, Skip Ewing and of course Marty who has stayed true to his music. I absolutely love Marty and his band’s harmonies!

Marty I'm not sure if you wrote this song or someone else did, but whoever did they are a genius. I always tell my kids, some songs are good and catchy and they play on the radio awhile and then fade into obscurity. And then other songs are a work of art, the work of a genius, and they are timeless and never lose their cache. You can play them to a whole new generation 20 years down the road and they'll still blow them away. To me, this is one of those songs. I love it. Thanks for laying it on us.

Hey Jeff Jones I agree. The reasons are many that make the huge difference in quality. Marty himself is A child prodigy that still burns bright. Each member of The Fabulous Superlatives is a super star individually and together the come into the studio “road hot” and lay down tracks that stand up as well as their live shows! Truly a troop of legends.
