This has probably been one of the most effective tutorials I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t change I thing! Absolutely incredible. Marty keeps checking in and re-winds back to make sure you have really understood each new section. All I had to do was watch the video through and now I can play this whole tune. Thanks Marty!

Unless you're a nutjob like me and you want to play it as close to the album version as possible. In that case it's not very accurate.

@@kenbrunet6120 If our teachers taught us how to play something exactly like the original then there would be no room for your own personal embellishment, which hides your own musicianship. To put it simply, the best teachers never spoon feed their students.
@kenbrunet6120 Жыл бұрын
@@or-ei5sd I embellish and add my own spice to other songs. But this one is such a master piece that if played any other way. It's just not as good. I put "nutjob" about myself in the reply for a reason. I'm fully aware that it's just my own opinion and that I'm unreasonable about it.. Its just that song. It's on a pedestal behind museum glass for me. Play it like the best version of it or don't play it. I can't help it.

I started out playing guitar by looking up my favourite songs to learn that were for beginners and easy enough for me to play. You always had the best tutorials, the way you break everything down and explain it. Im now 10 years playing guitar and i still find myself coming back now and then as a refresher or a new song i wanna learn! I have so much to thank you for! Giving me the foundations, the enthusiasm through learning my favourite songs and then the courage and confidence to discover more! I haven't looked back! So it's wonderful that im learning this through you again!

Am i the only one who noticed the MISSED chord? In the part where they hold out "already know" for the second time (towards the end of the song), after the A7 and D7 there is another weird chord that includes the tritones Eb and A. Open D string, 2nd fret of the G-string, 4th fret of the B and 5th fret of the high E. I don't know the name of it but you can hear Nuno strum it while he's singing "eeeee". BTW there are also THREE voices in that spot.
