For hill assist (which you won't get in these kinds of model vehicles), you can just hold on to the breaks and slightly apply the accelerator and then release the breaks. kindly note -don't do that with high acceleration, just a slight application will take the vehicle forward.

Because he has not understood the working of automatic gear system..this is similar to lowering gear while overtaking or if you want more power. This happens when you press the accelerator sharply to get more power.if you want smooth overtaking, dont press hard the accelerator. Over pressing accelerator results in lowering gear for more power
