@Uto Universe That show sucked. It felt like a Batman Beyond rip-off with cheap character designs and bright colors. Tony Stark in this show felt like a poor man's Peter Parker with a hint of Terry McGinnis. Stane was changed to a rip-off of Norman Osborn and Derek Powers.

EMH and Spectacular were loved because they did exactly what fans always wanted; respect the storylines of the comics with small changes here and there while keeping the spirit of the characters intact. EMH had Iron man, Hulk, thor, ant-man and Wasp as their starting team. Any avengers show that has the foresight and respect to sideline Cap until he joined the team in the comics is the Avengers show for me. Because that was just the first sign that they knew what they were doing.

In other words, they worked because they afaoted THE COMICS. And, if i made a Hulk show, i would only draw the Abomination's backstory from the MCU, have a few homages here and there (Hulk puny god-ing the Leader and She-Hulk suggesting going to eat some shawarma), and i would flip the script on ONE MCU moment (the "trying to transform via falling"). But, for the most part, i would draw from the comics and other media. Heck, i rule i would have is no Iron Man, Thor, or Natasha. The MCU already did too much with their relationship with the Hulk.

I had a conversation a while back with one of the storyboarders for Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel's Spider-Man. It's not the animators' fault that the animation turned out so stiff but rather the higher ups who forced them to keep every character rigidly on model. If it looks like the characters are just being slid around, that's because the animators weren't allowed to use smear or exaggerated frames.

Bitch, do you know that the principles of animation tell you not to make your drawings on model?! Being on model isn't nearly as important as making your character look alive. Thank you for bringing that up because you hear a lot and I mean a lot of people on the internet who think exaggeration is bad animation that breaking character model is lazy or cheap and none of it's true it really makes the character come to life. Honestly some of the more shameful observations anyone could make is pausing a character during an in-between frame and then saying "wow looks like they ran out of money". That is the most intellectually offencive load of words you could ever form a sentence out out of when it comes to this industry

This can be shown by the Fantastic 4 being demoted to extras, Inhumans being used as replacement for X-Men and mutants (until the failure of show ended this trend),Tony Stark replacing Reed Richards as ressident supergenius, and Elektra's costume being changed to resemble the one she wore in Daredevil. One of the worst ways Avengers Assemble tries to be an MCU clone is due to Namor not appearing in the Atlantis episodes, as well as no sign of mutants or X-Men. Avengers EMH had an appearance by Wolverine and X-Men easter eggs. Avengers Assemble has no reference to the X-Men whatsoever.

Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and Guardians of the Galaxy (the TV show) are Earth-12041. Marvel's Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! (3rd season) and Avengers Assemble: Black Panther's Quest (5th season) are Earth-TRN633 (TRN means that there isn't official number for this universe).

You are NOT wrong, I too don't care much for the modern marvel cartoons (except by de-facto Big hero 6 the series and Spider-verse), I'll find myself watching them still, but they need to do better, as much as they have since the 90s. They need an appealing style, they need to stop aping the MCU too much, be more stylized like Avengers: EMH and Spectacular Spider-Man, enough of those cheap title only openings, stop excluding characters like the X-men and F4 (thankfully due to the fox buyout, that ain't a concern no more), have a stable and consise contuniunity (it is a mess right now ). In the future, I wish to see some changes implemented in a better manner, I wonder if the upcoming animated marvel hulu shows would be different, further than what we have now.

Avengers assemble and Avengers Earth's mightiest heroes are 2 different shows they are not connected so ultron's reveal is different in both shows. But spiderman which is the same character in both are cannon in both shows which is why it is extremely confusing

9:39 it wasnt confusing to me because I thought Assembled was a sequel series based on numerous factors (no I never looked it up when I was younger) 1 the first episode had implied the Avengers were together before but disbanded 2 Falcon just joining their ranks he was a villain working for red skull who saw the light 3 outside the opener not seeing the first episode so if they established this is there first time together I wouldn’t know 4 the Galatus episode straight up said he was on earth before and I thought that tied into EMHs finale 5 Drake Bell as Spider-Man Ultimate Spider ties into this series and I thought they were the same characters But that was all just me when I was a kid

There was a flashback in an episode of season 1 of Assemble where the Avengers, in their EMH designs, fought Molecule Man, though if you think about it too much, it just creates continuity errors

Also can we talk about how awful Hulk was portrayed in these cartoons? He's not even angry, his personality is all over the place, he tries to tell poorly written jokes, the acting isnt as good as it should be, he hides behind a team of other hulks, and feels the need to say the word smash in every episode. Saying the word smash does not make the Hulk who he is. The acting in general in these shows are just really poor. Ultimate Spiderman is the only show in which I think had a few good some good acting moments. The stories for guardians, avengers, and hulk just feel like a kid mashing his toys together. It doesn't feel like a proper story. They keep on reusing the same characters and you can't help but to feel that they're running out of ideas. And for some reason they chose to make Doc Ock work with Hydra and become extremely ugly? Also They're reliance on the MCU does not work to their advantage. It's a disadvantage for them and they shouldn't have to rely on MCU references. Their continuity is just one big mess.

Why did they bother giving them their Classic looks if they were just gonna redesign them to copy the movies when they showed up again in Avengers Assemble? Why the hell is Thanos and The Black Order still up and around in the Guardians Show when the Avengers already beat them in the Season 3 finale?

I for one want to know more about them but it’s like they’re the bad guys and there’s no character development.
