In my OCD mind, I like to think that Captain America just took extra pym particles with him to 1970 and closed that timeline. I also like to think that Hawkeye remembered to take the mitt back to his house one day, thus closing that “timeline.” And then Steve living with Peggy from the 40’s to 2023 is just part of the main timeline and isn’t an alternate. In my mind, he always went back in time. He always danced with her. Lived with her, loved her, (maybe had a child or 2), and grew old with her. Of course, he’d have to explain to her that he wasn’t the Steve Rogers she knew, but was still the same guy who is “simply” from the future. There were always 2 Captain America’s from 1940-2023. He just had to be careful not to directly interfere with any major events (or maybe he did... maybe he helped Howard Stark create the super soldier, told him about arc-reactor tech, informed Nick Fury about everything so that things played out EXACTLY the way they did anyways because Steve knew that everything was going to work out and that there was no way that it could be done without Black Widow or Iron Man dying). That’s why I wish Steve would have seen an older picture of himself on Peggy’s desk while at the base in 1970 during Endgame because it would confirm what I’m saying. There’s no way for it not to “make sense” (as I’m taking about a fictional universe, haha). This does leave a sad thought though: this means that Steve has to suffer with Peggy while she is going through Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s as we see in Winter Soldier. And since she dies in 2014 (when Winter Soldier takes place), that means Steve was alone from 2014-2023 before he could finally tell them that everything worked out and give Falcon his shield. Anyways, I am just very passionate about Marvel and this makes sense to me. It would be interesting if they explored those 2 alternate timelines one day though with Loki escaping in 2012 and Thanos, the Chituari, and the Black Order from 2014 disappearing in 2023. However, that last alternate timeline can possibly be closed too if when Tony snapped his fingers he simply sent them back to 2014 with their memories erased just before the normal events take place.

All the races that made up the Black Army are missing from the other timeline too they were snapped. I think Cap brought extra Pym particles to 1970 to close that loophole. Here's a fun paradox: The black order races and thanos travel forward in time to 2023, which means the events of infinity war don't recreate themselves in the other timeline. This means the ancient one could have looked forward with the time stone and found Hulk to be lying about Strange, since he never gives anyone the timestone he doesn't have in that timeline. If she did, she would logically never give Hulk the stone. Without the time stone, Tony can't snap Thanos and the black order, so Thanos wins in 2023, returns to his timeline and the infinity war events happen because the Time stone never leaves the ancient one. But if that's the case, the Ancient One would have foretold it, and given Hulk the stone, and so we have a paradox.

I never like series endings where everyone splits up, but not everyone survives to continue. the avengers and thanos have so thoroughly messed up time that none of this ever happened, but still did anyway, causing more destruction then thanos alone ever could have.

It's a terrible title for him to use the symbolism is not heroic but evil (Literally Communist and/or Nazi through Hydra). The White Wolf title is his redemptive hero name to move on from the past because unlike Steve he doesn't and shouldn't want to go back.
