EA publishing a Marvel game isn’t new. I remember Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects back in the PS2 era. That’s a guilty pleasure of mine.

Every time I think about EA, I think about that Caddicarus clip where he changes their old slogan from "Challenge Everything" to "Piss off Everyone" It's never not going to be relevant because EA are the greediest money grubbers this side of Activision, and will do damn near anything to squeeze every cent they can out of everything they can. Let's not forget they were the ones that pushed loot boxes so far they got heavily regulated. I don't think this AI thing is any different. They're chasing the trend, using the buzzwords, to get the shareholders to keep investing. And they're probably trying to replace devs and artists with robots to save money. I don't think they'd do that for Black Panther or Iron Man, at least not to an extreme degree. I mean, I'd hope they'd learned their lesson after Battlefront 2 lost them their exclusivity on the Star Wars IP, and I don't think Disney would be particularly happy if they had another game bomb due to a massive controversy, so I'd wager those games are probably safe, same with any Star Wars games they got in the pipeline. Anything else though... That's up in the air

Hope we get a new Spider-Man game franchise disconnected from the insomniac one soonish… love the gameplay (even though it’s too easy) but I’m really hating where they’re obviously taking the story (the death/retirement/replacement of Spider-Man) I’m sure they can fix the direction but I honestly want a fresh start… 😪

Fortnite did Spider-Man webswinging gameplay and Iron Man flight mechanics better than the Avengers game

The Avengers game is just a bit stiff all around. It's usually not that bad, and it doesn't really matter for Tony because you're not gonna be zooming around those maps anyway but it KILLS Spider-Man. Those maps just aren't built for him in the slightest. They took a square peg and just shaved off the edges till it fit in the circle hole.

@@JRooso Tbf, Iron Man doesn't feel that good either. Tony is just not bad enough for him to be passable. I've never picked Iron Man and regretted my choice like I did when I first picked Spider-Man. In all honesty, half the mobility skills suuuck. The wall running/climbing is way too situational, the grappling is super clunky, and the flying isn't for OR useful. The only one that feels remotely good is Kate's teleport.

I want an Avengers game gone right just go ahead and pull the combat and skill system from Marvel's Avengers and give it to a publisher that ACTUALLY gives a damn. Listen to ME the reason why Marvel's Avengers still stands out to me is because of it's combat and character diversity. I get some people want another live service game and others only want it to be single player the one thing I need is the combat to NOT be TRASH; IDC how good the story is lol.
