Marvel Legends Ankle Repair Tutorial

This is my method for repairing Marvel Legends with broken ankle pegs. This technique will work on much more than Marvel Legends as well.

Great video! In a kind of related note I tried using super glue to tighten an ankle joint with Krazy Glue on my 075 Mafex Spiderman but it got stuck. Is there any way to repair that or un-glue it?

It can be repaired but you are in a situation now. It is more than likely going to need to be cut out carefully with a razor blade on the straight areas. A LOT of heat to carefully pry loose anything adhered. This is why I charge more for glue mistakes. I understand it happens but the time it takes to undo the damage is far more than if it were initially done correctly. It is a learning process.

Is it possible to take the swivel disk out without cutting anything?

Is it possible to change that disc? I'm gona try switching the disc on an iron monger baf arm with a aoa apocalypse, since the connector on it is larger on one arm so it would fit on the apoc body. Or i could just cut of the connectors and switch them then do this method 😅

These FUCKING ratchets on the ankles. I'm done. I'm fucking done with Marvel Legends. My Venompool wave Carnage's ankle just snapped off. Tight ass ratchet, not even the hairdryer trick managed to save my figure. I fear the other foot will break too. Damn, they make really cool toys, but these ratches have to go, what's the point of putting ratches on a 6 inch figure?
